This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    PackardBell EasyNote TJ66 (updated to v1.31 BIOS) need original BIOS

    Hi, I just updated my laptop using the BIOS provided by packardbell. The update went fine, rebooted and every ok... except that the laptop shuts off 30 seconds after power up.

    Tried to solve this downgrading to v1.30 (the oldest one available to download), but the problem persist.

    I can access to hard drive via another PC, I was looking for the folder with the bios update utility, I thought it would save old bios, but there's no "bios.old" or whatever.

    I need desesperately the original 1.07 BIOS! and I can't find it :(
