This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Re read my posts to refresh my memory.

    Win10 will work, but definitely do an upgrade install from win 8.1.
    The proper win10 drivers are a must as 1 or 2 items wont auto install the driver from inside win10.

    Win8.1 is not that bad on a 3E.

    The Edugear drivers I linked before do come up now as restricted area.. Odd...

    I put Windows 8.1 back on and fixed the audio problem by installing the Realtek I2S drivers first then I installed the SST Audio drivers. The combo drivers never seemed to work for me. Everything else was smooth sailing after the audio problems. Thanks again everyone for you suggestions and inputs!

    Audio driver is fussy, it has to be the correct driver from Panasonic or no go. I had the sane problems x6 of these. Patience is a virtue here. Once you get it right they are great machines, I still have a pair of them and my heathen step sons have not managed to break them. If those 2 were at Stalingrad during the war, the Germans would have collapsed because they would have destroyed everything just touching it. For real. :oops: :eek: :D
