I was upset with the delays at first. Now, I've realized I'm in a better position getting mine 2-3 weeks later. It should give me time to absorb a few reviews and make sure the Blade is really what I want.

My options seem to be pretty slim though. I've all but eliminated the Ghost Pro due to the crappy trackpad. The P34Gv2 is priced right, but the build quality seems subpar.

Honestly, I don't know if there is anything better on the market at the moment. I was looking around because I've been waiting over a month. I made the mistake of ordering from amazon. Just ordered from Razer yesterday in hopes that one of them processes the order :)

I think the only other laptop is the Blade Pro. It has twice the RAM, a worse graphics card, no touch screen, lower resolution, it's 17 inches (so a different class altogether).

I haven't owned a Blade previously, but it looks like the Apple of PCs, and that is what I'm hoping it is.

    It isn't easy waiting though...

    Holy where do you live?

I won't even move to California, definitely don't want to move wherever you are.

Unless they pay me twice as much I guess, but that's doubtful.

Wow, I feel very lucky they didn't even charge sales tax in Nebraska. We do have 7% sales normally but Razer didn't charge any. Oddly enough they didn't charge me when it shipped either, should hit the same day I receive it though.

They charged sales tax for me in NY, but NY has a law about it that most online retailers enforce. I think newegg might have been the only big one giving them the middle finger, but I haven't bought anything there in a little while I'm not sure they are still rebelling.

Well, Brazil seems to be worse than Singapore and Australia. I paid about $2630 USD ($3299 SGD). That's about 23%, although it isn't any sort of tax. The price includes VAT (we call it GST in Singapore). The only thing I can be happy about is the shipping: $9.90 SGD for next-day shipping. Well, might be because Min Liang-Tan's Singaporean... Hope he also reduces prices for notebooks.

Luckily in Pennsylvania I think they only charge online sales tax if the retailer also has a brick and mortar store located in the state, which Razer does not - so I did not have to pay tax on this order.

I am a 256 from 4/4 and still sitting on the "in process" limbo.

My Amazon order of a 512GB still hasn't changed from estimating April 29th as the latest. Just shot them a call and they said they'll have their fulfillment people contact me sometime tomorrow. I expect they'll say that the date has been pushed back but who knows.

I ordered my 512GB Razer Blade direct from Razer on March 15th, and it's still sitting at "Order Submitted". Release date pushed back 4 times, but still currently sitting at April 29th. Here's hoping it ships on Tuesday...

I ordered 256GB on 3/28, and CS told me that it was estimated to be shipped on 4/25. Of course, it hasn't shipped. I'm actually considering other alternatives if it's going to be pushed to mid May.

the reason razer gave for not shipping the 512s with the others is that those hadnt been fufilled to the warehouse and they should be on the 29th. if they are going to ship 512s on the 29th theres a good chance they will ship more of the other models if they get them. my date for the 512 is 4/29 as should be most people who ordered the 512 before the original release date. i ordered on 3/28

I am a 256 from 3/22 and They told me it would not ship until May when I spoke to them which caused me to basically flip out on them, whats the point of a pre-order if they don't use it to estimate demand?!

I just checked my status.... "This order will be shipped after the release date of 5/9/2014 for The New Razer Blade - 512GB."

    Ordered March 12th, 12:48 p.m. - I don't know what to think anymore.

It'd be nice if they be honest with their customers and tell them the real reason behind the delays or/and give them and something in return. Why all the 128/256s are getting the love?

I'd say I was annoyed, but I can't work from home next week when the Blade should have arrived so I'm not.

Yes, also a 512GB buyer. Also ordered an hour or two after launch.

I wonder how many units they fulfilled last week.

I really do, too. I hope they ship out more this week, though I really really doubt it. I ordered a 256 on March 17th and have been told 3-4 weeks. So their warehouse must be fresh out & waiting for more to come off the line.

I might just order the Razer Blade Pro if my order doesn't come this week. Without a laptop, I can't do work at my University, so I have to rely on my desktop at my apartment... I wouldn't mind the Razer Blade Pro, though.

Cancelled my order on amazon and bought a P34Gv2. The razer looked cool, but pushing my ship date to end of June and offering mice to others who got delayed because they bought directly from you instead of via amazon left a bad taste in my mouth. That being said I hope the rest of you enjoy your wait and that it lives up to your expectations.

Unbelievable they moved the date for the 512gb Version again. I am actually incredibly angry now. There should be no reason in my opinion to move the date of the 512gb version AGAIN since the other 2 versions are being shipped!
At this point I am seriously considering to order the MSI.

If the Razer Blade Pro had an 870m, that would have made it easy to cancel the delayed 512GB razer blade and switch to the Pro model. As it is, it's tough to justify dropping a class of GPU.

ROFL, "no reason" is a little strong. Limited production line capacity, limited component quantity, delayed component shipping, etc. There's a lot of reasons why one model might be delayed over others. I agree it does suck though. In the end it just comes down to whether you're willing to wait or not. Personally, I've never rushed buying a car and probably wouldn't rush buying a device this expensive if I'm sure it's what I wanted. If the MSI is easily interchangeable with the Razer its probably the right choice for you, as I'm sure it'll be available sooner.
