Me too on the 256GB, no shipping date status. Wondering when my estimated shipping would be, I contacted Razor support the other day and they said mine is on schedule for 5/9 shipment, like many other found out too. At least of they're wrong/lying, it's collective =)

 

I just received my email to get my Razer Orochi mouse. Ordered on 3/14/14 and its just a coupon code that you enter into the website.

 

I got my email overnight and ordered it first thing this morning. A $70 mouse makes up for a 3 week wait for me.

 

Interestingly, I ordered (256gb) first week of April and called the CS. They said i might know more by the end of the month. That's all he left it at.

 

While it's been pretty annoying having the ship dates pushed back, I can wait for a good thing. What's really bugging me however, is that I know for a fact some people that ordered the same model after me have already received theirs, and also that I still can't get a concrete ship date from Razer. They need to coordinate this all better because so much is inconsistent, and getting a decent update on my order has been impossible so far.

Looks like my original theory of late May and early June seem to be about right. Still no updates from Razer. Seems like the orders going out are very sporadic, in a not-so-first-come-first-serve basis.

 

It wont be that long.
I ordered my 256 on April 23rd and asked them what the status was on Wednesday. "Your scheduled ship date is May 14th."

 

Well, not to sound like a negative nancy, but with that logic, we've all had our Blades since last month. I'm just a realistic thinker, I think end of May early June is probably the most logical for those who ordered in April. Especially considering that people who ordered in the first week in March still haven't gotten theirs.

 

I think the first indication of what's going to happen will really be next Friday.

The only reason I shared my info was because it's contradicting with everyone else's information.

Maybe I'm wrong! I wouldn't be upset if I was. Just doesn't make sense that those who ordered in April would get theirs in the same batch as those who ordered mid-March. Unless they accounted for the fact that more people (likely) ordered closer to the "expected" launch date, or unless they projected sales off of the first two weeks of pre-orders. This is a very niche product, and I'm sure they'd be running (close to) a loss with any units NOT sold in a batch. Which is why we've likely seen very small batches coming out.

 

Ordered on 3/12/2014 the 512GB and has "This order will be shipped after the release date of 5/9/2014 for The New Razer Blade - 512GB." in red on bottom. Hopefully ships this time after being pushed back so many times. Payed with paypal and they have my money since I ordered. Different then paying with credit card where they charge when shipped.

 

Same here. I asked their customer support and they KINDA confirmed that 512 versions will be shipped on 5/16. Not sure though.

with my 512 i was just told my ship date is scheduled for may 14th.

you know: razers shipping department is only available through email

 

I was told today I would ship on Monday for my March 22 order
... Truth be told I'm not sure I believe it but I'll keep everyone posted... This all seems horribly confused

I ordered the 512gb.

 

I ordered my 128GB on 4/15, and CS told it will be ship out on 5/21.

 

I just cancelled my w230ss order and ordered this on the razer website today. When do you think it will arrive? PS I ordered mine originally on amazon march 27 but when I saw the june ship date I canceled.

 

Honestly? Probably after June... Unless their bottle neck gets fixed but I think it's unlikely by then.

I'm a little more confident we'll see most of our fulfillment this month. I get why they would do a limited launch - less duds out at launch = less money lost soing warranty exchanges. But since there are no major issues so far, they should have some pretty large orders incoming in the next couple weeks.

 

I pre ordered the 512gb on 3/12/14. This is the most current response I received from Razer support earlier this week: "Thank you for contacting Razer. We have started to ship the Blade orders on a first order first out basis, I understand you pre ordered in March, users who pre ordered the 512GB Blade early in March will have their ship date on May 9th. We are working as quickly as possible to fulfill all pre orders. We apologize for the delay and inconvenience this is causing you..We thank you for your patience. If you have any further questions let us know by replying to this email, and have a great day." Im still not convinced that it will ship on the 9th, but I sure as hell hope so. The wait has been ridiculous.

 

What are the chances of them updating to maxwell with all this delay?

Thanks for sharing. I ordered my 512GB 3 days later on the 15th of March (took a few days to hatch a strategy and get up the nerve to seek permission from my wife!) Let us know Friday if your order ships!

As an interesting aside, I noticed this morning that Best Buy Canada now has store pages for the 256 and 512 GB 2014 Razer Blades. No release date posted (and shows out of stock online and in store) but at least it looks like it'll be available from a brick and mortar store in Canada eventually.

 

Complete redesign of main board. No chance.

 

They would have to downgrade the graphics card. Why would you want that?

No such thing. Probably never will be. Maxwell 970M and 980M, probably next year

 

After reading posts daily about the Razer for the last month on this forum i finally placed my order for a 256 GB today. Shows ship date of may 23. Thats 2 days before my B-Day and i got 2 day shipping would be great if it showed up on the 25th.

 

What is the greatest date someone ordered that has shipped/received?

I saw a gentlemen in the forums that that had ordered on 3/12 and received his 256.

I ordered a 256 on 3/16 and am still stuck in "Order in Process"

So am guessing Razor's next batch will start shipping for orders that were placed somewhere between 3/12 and 3/16 for the 128/256.
512's it seems will ship on 5/9 at earliest.

When updating your status include your configuration (128/256/512) and date ordered, please.

Ordered the 256gb on 4/4. I have gotten no correspondence from them save the original backorder one a month ago. I guess the moral of the story is to badger them incessantly and you will get what you want.

the comments on this make me feel like no one has any kind of life.

 

Oh, these are the same idiots on youtube that do not understand what a laptop is for. For some reason they think it's a desktop.

"I can build a more powerful desktop for the same money" herp derp.

 

That one always drives me nuts. When I'm looking for a powerful laptop (which is usually "expensive") and I get comments back, "Just buy a desktop and a cheap laptop for the same money". Do they not understand I want to actually play games on the portable when I'm away from home? Plus I already have great desktop, I don't need another one geesh.

 

I guess they'll never really understand others complete sense in buying a laptop such as the Razer Blade.


Oh well.

 

It's not just traveling. I game while on the couch using a lap desk. This way I'm not off in some other room. I'm there in the living room so I can pause and pay attention to my wife and just be in the same space. If I didn't care about that I would just get a desktop. It's like I know how much I can build a desktop for, I've built many in the past. I wanted laptop with a good GPU for a reason, obviously, or I wouldn't be considering it. Stfu.

 

But that's precisely the point... People buy a desktop in order not to have to pay attention to the wife. (On the other hand, a laptop is, of course, less expensive than a desktop and a wife...)
