Edge is light and works with all my chromium extensions which I've grown attached to.
Haven't got the patience to use and mod firefox to my liking anymore.
I'll try the portable version tyPapusan likes this. -

Can someone here help me out a lil with my old Sith? i have a Blade Pro Late 2019 with 9750h and 2070maxq.
have already modded the bios to show all the options i needed. it was a pita since there is a bug which makes all menus disappear even after being enabled, as soon as you insert a second NVME. however i got it done cleanly not by bulk editing as suggested on another thread.
i am now running on a modded 1.04 Bios.
i am on a mission to get the most out of the machine since i am full time travelling and not being able to have my main rig with me all the time.
can someone please tell me a few things?
1. Is there a more powerful bios than the one i got on my stock 2070maxq? it draws 100w under load.
2. my cpu throttles after a short time, it is stuck at 55w from what i can see. undervolting seems to not be working, at least hwinfo shows a constant -100mv offset , any change done in ts wont reflect there. however, pulling sliders all the way down in ts will result in bsod, so something is happeingn there. i am really confused, read something about some security thing and certain bioses disabling us the abulity to undervolt etc.
i hope there is someone here who already played with it enough to tell me a quick solution.
my Timespy Benchmark is at 7900 i believe, firestrike at 18900 or so.
obviously the laptop has Liquid metal on both gpu and cpu, plus heatpads all over the place to extract heat from the components to the chassis...temperatures are quite good but i guess im missing something here.
also, in windows 11 which i am running in a somehow debloated version , power plans seem to have changed a bit.
hoepfully someone smarter than me can clarify things... -
As for the vbios, I have no idea as I didn't own the 20 series blades and never looked into it extensively. Maybe someone else here can provide information.
I have an early 2021 blade 15. I've tried unlocking all the overclocking menus and have so far been about 90% successful. The only menu I can not get to fully display is the memory overclocking menu. I haven't been able to get the profile toggle to show up to be able to set to XMP or custom for overclock the RAM. Now I'm wondering if it's because I have a second NVME installed. Could you elaborate on this bug? -
It seems there`s a bug with my BIOS where i do the normal Unlock procedure for Pre 2020 Bioses (which should work fine),
by normal i mean the one we all know from the Post herein which starts with "Potential to unlock all..."
anyway so i get my bios modded and everything shows correctly, but now i decide i want to install a second NVME and voila, the previously unlocked Memory OC Menu plus a few others i needed AND the Overclocking Menu (which on my laptop was unlocked by default) are all gone...
There`s another user who reported this on Win-Raid Forum too where a quite famous user mentioned he never saw that behaviour before.
So i started to manually unlock all the menus which have disappeared by editing the bin file.
There is a nice little post here where user Guiden describes a somewhat brute attempt to unlock all the menus again.
i would suggest you do his procedure to see if that is the cause.
for me bulk editing a bios wasnt ok, so i actually took the time to edit the hexes manually for each option which had disapperead and was necessary. it all worked out except for the memory command rate toggle which didnt affect me at all. -

did u pin the over locking menu to the main tab? i did that too before brute modding everything and it works. i am pretty sure it has to work just try again…unfortunately this is a time consuming process, took me like 4 days to figure out everything so that i can have a clean bios in the end

In AMIBCP set the everything under "Overclocking Performance Menu" and "Memory Overclocking Menu" section to "USER" - same goes for any setting you want unlocked really.

I think only one is thunderbolt, which would be the best to connect an external monitor, any difference?
