That’s temperature while running those FS with and without core, without core I used -155UV throttlestop, super OC mode same with the the one who got 15K, 190 and 600 with afterburner, Fan max.
Any idea how to bump physical score? 14K isn’t good enough imo, should around 2K better...

Gaming mode in synapse and running latest nvidia drivers? It's odd you'd be getting such a low score. I guess I've never run just max fans to see how the temperatures are as that isn't realistic for me real world wise.

That OC is already higher than gaming mode which are only 100/300, almost double. Yes latest nvidia driver. I had good graphics score only physical score that probably could be maxed.

If I do a firestrike run and let it cool down for 10 min (or let it run on idle for 10 min first) I get the same Temps. Especially on average‘ ;)

Another update, for Core setting there’s still issues have to reinstall driver every changing gpu. Oh hell yes it seems hot after running Steep all max around half hours and downloading things :D Here comes the show

Btw 100fps steep is nice though
Edit: Damn only need 22 point to score that magic 15K ;)

Okay done with FS, here’s 15K FS.
    https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/27162532
And this is the temperature while doing that, no download etc. 190/600 Afterburner, throttlestop UV -150 only nothing changed. The only thing that changes is backlight logo to breath ;)

Here are my temperatures doing a single run of Fire Strike with the laptop set to gaming performance mode with auto fans.

The laptop also has a 165mV underclock with a turbo limit of 3GHz.

    Fire Strike
    Graphics Score - 15818
    Physics Score - 12892
    Combined Score - 6545

    Stock clocks on the 1070.

I prefer speed than temperature, idk how that was happened but yes it should 16K physical and 17K graphics. And now comes games stress test, AC Origins, FFXV

Because previously i never used that and need only undervolting, only cpu undervolting that’s all. Maybe gaming mode and 5000fans max help bumped the score, since before I had quite room in temperature for overclocking, and somewhat did hold the CPU score. I fished it with pushing steep the game on max, and cpu after that performed as I wanted.

I was just delivered Conductonaut, Super 33+, Fujipoly Ultra Extreme, and ArctiClean. All I'm waiting for now is the Conformal Coating, but that's saying Monday.... Found some soft foam, but it burned about 4 inches above a lighter. Need something more heat resistant...

I've noticed people on Amazon buying RTV Silicon with the stuff i purchased... could they be damming the LM with that?

I think I have good Blade, playing AC Origins on very high setting and benchmark result only max 82. So maybe atm I’ll skip opening Blade or flashing bios for tweaking.

That was my random test today I just threw on a -.140 on CPU and I had my GPU at 190/600 like I normally run it. Did your AC crash with the undervolt to the CPU? That is the only game that doesn't seem to like undervolting.

It’s true, that game is CPU killer wants more voltage, so I’ve to lower undervolting same as yours -140 from-150 and play on balance mode (default), only a bit tweak Fan manually to 4300. But this Blade is better than my Blade 14 2017 which I had to moding with Bios to keep it CPU under 90. Try go more on Core clock, I stopped at 190, because I just wanted to break 15K ;), you’re on right path, physical is also good.

This is AC Origins we’re talking about, other games I think it’ll be lower 80 or 70ish.
I’ll see other light games like OW, destiny 2 and far cry 4.
On such temperatures I could keep my old Blade well over year without hardware issues, I think if it throttle than I should worry.

This is my best Fire Strike score I just ran now (14,867). -150 CPU undervolt, 190/600 GPU overclock. Max fan, set TPL multiple range 36-41, EPP setting to 0. Max GPU temp of 63C (!), max CPU temp of 85C (core 0 hit 85, the next closest core was 79 and core 1 only hit...70C max?!). Given that low GPU temp (63C), I'm wondering if I can push this harder and break 15k.

Slightly oddly, the PROCHOT flag is triggered "yes" in HWinfo64.

Play Farcry 5 for half hour and lemme know where your temps spike. I get up to like 95-97c. This and AC origins are brutal.

Let me know how the ArctiClean works out for you, the alcohol pads didn't work so well for cleaning up IC Diamond.

If you're talking about this RTV Silicon, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002UEN1U/ , people are using it to reattach CPU IHS. I bought some but I didn't recommend getting it since Blade 15 doesn't have a desktop CPU like my EVOC. ;)

I would imagine you COULD theoretically use it to put a small ring around the die to create a dam of sorts, but you'd have to wait for it to fully cure before you could put everything back together, and make sure you didn't make the dam taller than the die itself. Sounds like a pain in the rear. I'd get some high temp foam or something that will compress. I linked some silicone foam earlier in the thread, thought it's a bit pricey.

Yesterday Test was interrupted by Internet connection issues, my provider is the culprit. It should finish the download in 15 Minuten but it went to 0, thought old killer issue came again ;) Yes I’ll tell you, yes Far Cry 5 is also demanding on ultra setting.

You have better physical score than me actually, maybe my silicon lottery is better? Try to set throttlestop all default and change only cpu CPU offsets voltage to your best value, maybe that other setting hold the gpu score to reach 17K, and with maybe higher CPU temperature maybe you can break that 15K overall.

Yes I think on Ultra or gaming mode it’ll be around that temperature, I played on balance with Fans auto and Fans manually on max. Because I usually don’t use OC playing games. Good things is this game is UV friendly, with -150 which I couldn’t on AC Origins, and overall Fans noise is way better than previous Blade absolutely. Oh one thing I noticed that I had also backlight bleed but very minimal, didn’t notice it on boot screen but noticed it on loading screen on Far Cry.

Can bumped physical score on core setting to normal 16K physical on 8750H CPU, but still Graphics score to low imo, it could be TB3 on mobo in Blade 15 isn’t designed for eGPU setting unlike stealth and other ultrabook but it could be also software issue that could be solved by intel by updating TB3 firmware version, idk but it’s nice to be number one on 1070 notebook with 8750H CPU laptops category list...with €1K cheat ;)

Anything referencing SATA in the bios? Or you could borrow one to check

EDIT: doesn't look like HIDevolution offers any SATA SSD's in their customization options. Maybe they would know? @Donald@HIDevolution ?

Anyone know what panel this is and whether it can be modded onto other laptops. I have the RB15 1070 512gb config setup right now from MS store. And I pulled up HW info, but it's unknown.

edit: nvm its the same screen in GS65, Clevo's thing and light, Aero 15x.

Does anyone know whether it can be modded onto other laptops?

I can tell you that this panel with its existing eDP cable does NOT work in an AW 15 r3 and attempting so will likely render the panel useless

The MSI GS65 and Aero 15X generally ship with an AUO panel, not LG.
