It may be due to how dynamic boost works so the "130" could be 100+30w that dynamically adjusts based on the cpu load.

I’m going to hook my power adapter to a Killawatt and see what sort of power consumption I see.

I need to unlock my bios and undervolt this hot 10875 and see if that improves my score.

Most likely losses usb-c to DP functionality.

Loses more than that. If I switch my settings to dedicated and bypassing optimus, it completely disables the built in display and an external monitor needs to be used.

    I’ll stick to the 130W 3080 from the mid 2021 17”.

I’ve used this vbios on the muxless 11900h model and the 11800h with mux.. never lost main display.

HDMI works too, never tested USBC

Guess you confirmed it doesn’t work for the 17” model with mux.. Not sure why that would be the case though as I’ve seen ppl flash diff Vbios’es just fine

    Hello!

I'm new to this forum and I recently purchased a razer Blade 14 with the RTX 3080.

I read that you are able to Flash the vbios of the Blade 17 with RTX 3070 on the Razer Blade 14 (3070). Unfortunately the Razer Blade 17 with RTX 3080 has 16 GB or 8 GB of VRAM depending on the display.

I only could find the vbios of the Blade 17 3080 with 16 GB of VRAM and I don't know if I could safely flash that on the Blade 14 with 8GB 3080. Does anyone happen to know the answer to this or could provide the vbios of the Blade 17 with RTX 3080 and 8GB of vram?

Thank you very much and have a great week!

    Hello Blade 17 owners,

How are the speakers? Audio quality? Does the sound get loud enough to "hide" the fan noise? Any chance anyone know how the audio compares to the Asus Zephyrus S17?

I came from a 16” MacBook so I can want expecting that tier of quality for the speakers. However, the speakers get plenty loud and are definitely better than a 17” Maingear Vector and a Asus Strix Advantage without a doubt.

The speakers are more than capable of overpowering the fans where the previous 2 laptops I mentioned couldn’t without sounding poor.

Is there any "good" VBIOS for the Razer Blade 17 Mid 2021 (4K, RTX 3080). I think this device can handle even more wattage than 130W.

Hello, could someone please provide the Razer Precision Touchpad Drivers for the Razer Blade 17 Pro? I have the feeling I do not have the correct ones and my touchpad is not very precise...

    Hello friends,

Ive had the 2019 4K Blade 17 in the past. I got rid of it because the speakers were crap and the screen was super glossy and the blacks were bad.

I have an opportunity to pick up the newer 11900H/3080 4K model.

I'd love some opinions from those that own it in regards to the

    Speakers....does having 4 improve bass?
The screen.. i know it's glossy but is it still an overly warm color temp?
Is the contrast that bad? I can barely remember the 1st gen but that stuff bugged me.

    Thanks for any input!!

What do you think of the screen? Do the reflections drive you nuts? Backlight bleed? Washed out blacks?

Honestly I don’t have much of an issue with the reflections. I must of hit the panel lottery since I have zero black light bleeding.

Blacks look surprisingly well. It’s hard to want to use anything less than UHD at 17”. At most I’m using 125% zoom levels so it still is quite small, but that’s how I like using my desktop.

Looking into a new desktop monitor preferably an ultra wide. May even step it up and get an LG OLED tv.
