    Hi there, after 6 mounth using powerful Eurocom X7 laptop screen turn in grey with vertical stripes, problem in video core (hd8970m). Since 25 may I start to write Eurocom Support but there is no reply yet ! They absolutly ignoring European customers. Generally iam upset ;\

    can you post a picture of the lines on the screen even though we know its 99% a dead video card.
    my 9800gt gpu lasted 2 years but 6 months and it dies is defo not good and it should be replaced.

    can you tell us the full spec you have and when it was bought. how much warranty did you get, 1year or 2 years or did you extend more.
    also did you overclock. the more info we have the better.

    connect an external display via hdmi - the same gray screen, ie the problem is not in laptop matrix

    Reinstall win 8.1 and new amd drivers don't solf the problem.
    I didnt overclock it at all
