WEI hasn't been working for me since .2932. Is it working on windows 7 x64 with this new driver ? Problem is there seem to be a few diagnostic tools that don't work when you can't run the indexing.....

Installed the new driver just now - Everything seems to be working fine :) (See my signature). Running the re-assessment of the Windows Experience Index does not work - crashes....
    Driver is working though...

I have Windows 7 Home, I believe, and I just installed the Intel display drivers. Everything works flawlessly. No freezing or hanging up like others are experiencing. My score even went up.

Anything you can think of that would make your WEI - assessment run ?? Are you running the assessment with windows power saver on , or high performance ?

My computer is permanently on high performance. I never unplug it anyway. I didn't do anything different from what I normally do when I update my Intel drivers. I uninstalled the Intel drivers, rebooted, installed the latest, rebooted again and that was it.

By the way, are you getting good effect from those 6 notepal fans you are using ? I played through the whole crysis 3 campaign just now( almost maxed out, overclocked 950/1450) and I was all the way up to 102 degrees in max temp....

    Hello everyone, i have a Clevo P150HMx.

Some days ago i switched from win 7 ultimate 64 to win 8 pro 64. I'm experiencing a strange Issue: with latest realtek audio drivers, i cannot able to let work correctly my Realtek ALC892 audio.

Previously, in win 7, i was able to emulate correctly a 5.1 or 7.1 audio with laptop speakers, testing every speaker, it was working. We know that, phisically, the sistem has 2.1 real speakers, but our realtek drivers are able to emulate with a sound like srs effect the other two or more virtual speakers.

Now, in Windows 8, performing a test, subwoofer does not respond (and sub is a real physical speaker). Other virtual speakers doesn't works. The only working speakers are the two phisical frontal speakers.

Has anyone the same problem? I tried to install every realtek drivers founded (on station-drivers too)

    Please help me! :(

I am, but to be honest, it becomes counter-effective after a few weeks because now more dust get clogged up in all 6 fans AND my GPU/CPU fans. I have to clean them out regularly to keep all fans silent and running smoothly. I don't know if it will help your 102* C problem, though. You might want to lower your clocks a little or at least don't OC for Crysis at all.

Yeah, I wanted to try how hard I could push the card. Will not be doing that any more. I cleaned the whole interior including fans before I played though. Enjoyable gaming, though the campaign was very short.....
On another note, I am having trouble running the windows experience index with newer Intel graphics drivers. Anyone here manage to do that ? I tried uninstalling and removing all software for the HD 4000, then reinstalling one of the newer drivers(post 10%), but the re-assessment of WEI crashes every time. Any specific ideas ?

Hi! Schenker and Sager have put Win7 drivers for the new P1xxSM/NP82x0/XMG P503-P703 laptops @ their websites recently ( mySN.de | SCHENKER XMG | Schenker Technologies and custom gaming laptops - Welcome to Sager Notebooks ). Out of curiosity I've installed Hotkey app on my XMG P502/P150EM/NP9150, uninstalling 6.0100 version before ( without it had an error). Schenker's is 7.0009 and Sager's is 7.0014. It seems to ... almost work. The brightness slider goes crazy - you can't slide it as usual. There's a new file in Hotkey folder in Program Files: brightnessGPU.dll (plus WRadio.exe and 2 language (?) folders "en" and "en-US"). Does anybody know any solution to the brightness slider problem? Or do we have to wait for "our" Hotkey app update? Any luck with other drivers anyone?

Yeah, I guess you're right about WEI .. and about my temps... It was fun pushing the card in crysis 3 though, I have to admit I am quite impressed with the 7970m :) When they do crossfire in 15" I'm all-in for sure :)

Will these drives also work for M980NU ?
Last week i installed Windows 8 Pro 64Bit on my notebook (used Windows 7 drivers where necessary, installed newest nvidia driver) and it freezes always after 1-2 hours.

Everything seems to be installed correctly (just one hardware device with "?") and until it freezes the system runs very well.
    I hadn't these freezes under Win7 64Bit.

    Hellooo...
I run my laptop in ahci mode, and had optimied my samsung 840 pro os - disk for the system. But..... I am selling the laptop, so as I was cleaning out of windows I uninstalled Intel Rapid Storage Technology(Buyer wanted stable 7970m setup so he's keeping the os installation for now). Suddenly my iops read and write were lowered to half. I did have RST installed before, and I got results of ~90000 read and ~75000 write. I do not understand this, and I CAN NOT reinstall the clevo RST driver, nor can I find any updated one. The one in this thread gives me a black screen on restart after the installation. I have to go into safe mode to remove the RST driver. I have followed EVERY tip and trick there is out there, for better performance of the ssd's, but now I'm stuck with just slightly better performance than my older Samsung 830 - series ssd. I read several places that the driver package issued by Clevo should work in both raid + ahci mode, so I don't understand....
    Anyone ? Please ?

Hi everyone, I have a problem.
I am using a Clevo model W3xxST, and it looks like there are only drivers for windows 8. I'm using Windows 7 and hotkeys driver don't work at all, I would like to know if Clevo is planning to make some drivers for Windows 7 for this model.
    Thank you.

Perhaps there is an older Clevo model, which has the same keyboard layout. Probably the hotkey driver works.

With "same keyboard layout" was also meant the hotkeys assignment from the keyboard. I don't know if there is an older model with the same keybord(+hotkeys) layout but I really can imagine.

Hello. I recently just did a clean reinstall of window 7 64 bit so this thread really has helped a lot. But I still have one problem: I can't turn on my subwoofer even with Fn+5. When I went to Realtek HD Audio Manager and tried anything other than stereo it doesn't work. simply put, I don't have surround sound with the laptop anymore.
The lack of subwoofer doesn't bother me given that I don't really find the sound quality of my p150hm speakers something to be proud of in the first place. I'm just bothered when something doesn't work.
I also have noticed that I don't have THX Trustudio Pro installed.
Can anyone help? I'm sorry if I couldn't power myself through 28 pages to see if anyone has a similar problem. I also am very new and don't know where to post this problem I have.
I really appreciate any comment. If you think I need to read up on thread rules etc, just point me in the right direction and I'll start reading. Thank you so much.

    Hey guys,

I have been using the hotkey driver 7.0010 (Windows 7) for a while and everything was working fine, suddenly yesterday
I realised the backlit wasn't working, tried to open clevo apps (in the tray), nothing happened, restarted still nothing... (I havent changed anything on my computer).
No matter what the control center doesn't want to show....

I looked around and found an updated version 7.0026, installed it and restarted the computer, and apart from seeing the icon, the backlit is
still not working and clicking in the icon still doesn't show the control center menu ...

Fn + Fx keys works but that is all... I think this is the WORST driver ever from clevo so far.... Plus the site list only drivers for windows 8,
    big joke again...

Just frustrated really... Anyway, do you guys have found a decent driver for Windows 7 ?

    Thanks.

    PS : I have P150SM

don't worry, my backlight did not work in windows 7, did not work in windows 8 and does not work in windows 8.1 since I upgraded my 12.8 ati catalyst to higher version.... no matter what version is hotkey, backlight is just not working... u can see slider moving but that's it.... no difference.
    PS : I have P150HM with ati hd6990

Well It is not a massive issue ofc but you expect something you bought for a good amount of money to work :D
I have NVIDIA GTX 780m and I don't understand why in your case ati catalyst would prevent hotkeys, and the backlit to not work... Is it because one component not working with the hotkey driver would fail everything else ??

The problem is driver related.. try to uninstall Ati drivers... and.. oooh... it work!! What drivers are u using now? I have your same configuration laptop. I'm experiencing also a not working subwoofer.. (try to test it trough realtek panel and report me if you want if it work or not)

+1 for brightness not working :( Pretty much unusable in dark rooms with full brightness.
It was working in Win8.1 for me but couldn't stand that heap 'o' crap so installed Win7.
Believe it could be the intel chipset drivers as per this thread?

I don't know how to test it really. I tried all configs - stereo, quadro, 5.1, 7.1 - no woofer works in any choice... didn't even know if that worked at all from beginning...

as I tried uninstalling Ati drivers, still no luck with brightness. it seems for me that it worked just with original drivers from DVD that came with notebook and windows 7
