I certainly (← Looks around to see if my Clevo is listening) wouldn't kick a second video card off the motherboard! I'm not against a little graphic
ménage à trois!
LOL!

I'm waiting to see someone with a q9650 and 9800 GTX Sli post some #s.
That will help me make my decision between gt or gtx. -
Thanks Zenica!
you just made my day..LOL
And from what I see and hear the GTX in Sli does not quite have the boost in performance that we hoped but it would be interesting to see some numbers.
I do know that someone did order one with those specs but has yet to post any numbers.Hopefully soon -
Has anyone that ordered the GTX in SLi received it yet? -
So i got curious after readings a few threads and seeing other scores for the newer cards and decided to retest my system. The scores i got yesterday were before i got my updated bios from sager dont think it had much to do with my scores but it did solve a few booting issues i was having pre swapping the bios out. Rebooted the system waiting about 10 minutes and ran the tests 1 time each i was surprised at the results from the 3dmark06.

Wow, those are some great Pradage, and that is just from changing the Bios?
Is it available on the SAGER website?and I'm guessing it's for the NP-9262.
Good Luck with your new machine justanotherguy be!
Can't wait for some scores, and I'm sure you will love it.
****!One month! -
bump.
anyone else like to add their scores to this thread. -
Ran 3d mark 06 with p9500 and 9800gtS and got 8866,8833
with the 177.92 drivers -

finally my notebook arrived...need to install os and stuff. 2 X 9800m gtx sli...finally!!
-
I'd love to see some benchmarks from that beast!
Oh, and congrats BTW. -
Cogratulations man!
You will have a long day ahead you, every body is going to bombard you with benchmark requests, but you will have fun doing them!
For starters let's see some 3DMARK06 scores, just to see what you can do for comparison purposes.Just to set a baseline. -
He might knock you off the (benchmark) hill around here
-
I'm just going to stop using futuremark tools. -

We'll know very soon -
I thought your system had the same processor q9650...I guess I am mistaken. Still it should preform EXTREMELY WELL!

ok done running first test...as expected not very different then gt sli scores.
dual 9800m gtx sli= 14163 3D marks on a vista ultimate os. no oc'ing, out the box.
I'm very new to this..all i knew was i had to set performance settings to best performance. Is there anything else I should try/do?
EDIT : score 2 : 14285 -

its a 901cu model, i think its the 9292 system yes. I installed Dox's inf for clevo systems.
-
I got 10106 on my NP8660 (single 9800M GT). Stock test was 9362 though.
-
Which CPU do you have, Sabin?
Edit: Nevermind, I just saw your review. -
Really!
That's all you got for 3DMARK06 scores, those are good but not exactly what I was expecting.
I was hoping you could beat my scores to justify the much higher price for the GTX SLI , and you ran those first scores with the original drivers?
Try running it a few more times, sometimes it takes a system a while to put up some nice scores.
I thought you were going to get a Q9650, I never new it would make that much of a difference over a Q9550. -
justanotherguy_be Notebook Enthusiast
I've run it twice, no real difference
and its absolutely not worth the money. I initially wanted the gt sli, but they werent available anymore. Anyways, its about the same as gt, perhaps a little faster than the avarage scores (with Q9550). I believe the Q9550 vs Q9650 made some difference since the cpu tests ran at 1-3 frames.
-
justanotherguy_be Notebook Enthusiast
ran it 3rd time = 14323 3Dmarks
seems like it goes up every time i run it
@ IKAS did you ran your test on XP ? doest that make a difference? What are your drivers? -
No I have Vista 64, some people swear by XP but I really don't want to buy another OS but you would get a higher score but how much higher......who really knows.
Currently I use the 179.92 drivers.
Just keep on running the scores until you crack 15k, and they discontinued the M GT's, I wonder why? -
I think the thing with the GTX models is that it runs noticeably better on higher resolutions. If possible, try running 3dmark06 @ 1920x1200 vs. a 9800M GT in SLi then compare results.
-
IKAS V: Whatever happened to your 1900x1200 tests? Have you posted them yet and I just missed them?
-
my scores are going down slightly
3Dmark06 pro
9223
9226 then noticed i had it set to balanced and not high performance so ran them again

Mine are bigger than yours as well!
Stop pouting now... That's completely fine! Are you an OCD or something?
-
i know
lol.
just trying to load my sound card now. re booted and got error:
any ideas
hard not found. system administrator rights needed to access hard disc info.
i have admin rights. ive tried the usual right click and run as admin.
not a biggie problem as when i close the error box it runs fine. -
Yeah i did post them somewhere but here you go anyway, I get all these different post's mixed up
-
yeh yeh,ok IKAS_V, stop rubbing it in
-
Not trying to rub it in, OmegaATL asked for the scores a couple of post's back
-
i know, only kidding. impressive scores you got there.

m860, p9500, 4gb ram, 9800m gt, vista 64bit premium.
3DMark06: 10110, OCed to 2.7ghz.
no overclock: 9200-9500.
177.92 -
Lately here i have been doing some benchmarks and looking at all the other scores from the guys with newer systems. So this is the latest not so bad from 8800m GTX's.
http://img518.imageshack.us/my.php?image=26sep2008rb1.jpg -
Those 8800m GTX SLI?Those are pretty good, I see you still use the original Clevo drivers 176.02.Are those stock GPU speeds?
-
Naw i am overclocking which is why i showed my clock speeds. I was using the latest drivers the 177.98 i believe but it was causing my laptop to lock up when i played dvds from the drive kinda weird. So i went back to the clevo drivers 176.02 which in my opinion having giving me the best performance up to date.

Noticed you were running at 2.8GHz on your T9300. Were you able to get that score without any GPU OC? -
