Mmm, Do you think there will be a fix in the future? The fan cycling on and off sounds annoying.

Could someone post a youtube video of the cycling fan? So I could get some idea of how bad it is?

Maybe I should hold off on a purchase until the issue is resolved :/

The BIOS update fixed the fan table, and mine does not cycle..

Mine doesn't do it with the newest bios, but you need two tricks to accomplish it I think, as it seems the idle temp is so borderline between the two fan speeds.

I think the fan kicks up a notch when the GPU hits 38/39C, somewhere in there.

With my ambient temp at 74F, and ICDiamond on my CPU/GPU, I don't get changing fan speeds.

But just moving to my outside porch the other day, where it was less than 80F, but probably not by much, I did make mental note of the fans going up and down while browsing w/ Chrome.

I think that without ICDiamond, or a good cool temperature, you might get fan cycling. If anyone else has similar temps/cycling observations, post your ambient temp you're cycling at, and whether or not you are using the stock thermal paste. Might help some buyers.

    Bump.

Any news of a new bios/firmware to fix the cycling? It's really annoying when you just want to read some document in a quiet environment and have the fan keep spining on and off ALL THE TIME.
