    As high as it freaking goes xD, that's an awesome cooler.

    Download ATI tool, run the GPU artifact tester after every overclock. Raise your values slowly each time (25mhz at first, 10mhz later on), until you start getting artifacts. When you get artifacts, push it back once so you stop getting them, flash the card with those settings, and you're done.

    that's because of unit placement. a simple lifting of the back of the laptop will do wonders. really....it will. all for free.

    if you installed ntune and ran it once. then clicked on performance. accepted the little agreement. only after you have done this the first time..will you be able to see the profiles.

    o ok well i installled ntune, but every time i open it my system crashes. could this be because of the drivers i have installed? im switching drivers right now and am going to retry.

    GPUMEMMHZ0=799
    GPUSHADERMHZ0=1250?

    no, dont mess with volts. not sure if that works to begin with.

    just change the the clocks for userdflt.nsu then click save file. if file saves, then double click the file to activate it.

    edit: then use gpu-z to see if the new clocks took.

    If you're not volt modding, make sure you don't use my settings.

    My voltage is 1.05v, and anything under that is unstable with my clocks.

    yes. because drivers can make a big difference in getting the software to work.

    me personally...i would mod my own drivers from nvidia's driver download section. but in your case...just download the modded inf. and use something like 177.92. then try it again

    no, not really stuck.... you just dont have that nice soft cushin to fall back on....

    try just changing like just the core one time then the memory and then the shaders each time checking to see if anything stays....

    you would have to get one of these other guys to go in depth on bios oc'ing. they have a different method than i did when doing mine on an embedded gpu.

    Kevin Jack, 1.05v right?

    Mine seemed to be unstable at those clocks, but then again, your temps seem better at those clocks. Mine tended to go as high as 85 degrees.

    I'll try again when I get my hands on a zalman NC1000

    I have been following this thread and I am new on these forums. I have a np9262, 4gigs ram, SLI 9800M GT and Q9550 cpu. I am familiar with overclocking and I ocd my np9262 following the information i found on this thread, I seem to be running most applications fine with 610/945/1525 (on both cards) and my temperatures are never over 65 according to GPUZ but problem is I am unable to run 3dmark 2006. it starts fine but within a minute of launching it crashes and gives me "present failed: device lost (d3derr_devicelost)" any advice is appreciated, I am running 1.05V as well. Problem goes away when I revert my bios back to the default and I am able to run 3dmark 2006 and score 13800 w/o any OC.

    try lowering your clocks just a tad bit and see what that brings back. 600/920/1500

    yeah I just tried that and got the same results, only difference was that i was able to run 3dmark about 30 seconds more before the crash, weird thing is i can turn off SLI and run it just fine at any OC setting but this happens when SLI is enabled. Right after the crash occurs my GPU clocks reset back down to 200/100 and i am unable to run any 3d applications during this time. I actually have to get the gpu going by turning SLI on and off to get normal clocks back. The GPU that resets clocks is my main one, nothing happens to the secondary one. I tried only OCing my main card and leaving the secondary as it is but that didnt help either.
