I uninstalled stock drivers, didn't clean or delete anything, installed these and voilá, no problems for now. Going to try some games now.

If it's really that slow i'll upload mine to Mediafire, just give me 5 minutes.

Ok i uninstalled All amd (catalyst and CAP2) via control panel.
Then installed 13.1 and so far so good, i did get warning on the install, but couldnt figure out what it was.
My 3dmark11 score went down 50pmarks, only done one run. nothing to cry about.

    3dmark11

Oh and i have restarted plugged in twice with no BSODs so far, the install i did it unplugged anyway, was afraid to enter a driver nightmare once again.
I haven t reinstall intel drivers.

I also saw this, don't know if it applies to you: "The AMD Catalyst driver requires Windows 7 Service Pack 1 to be installed."
But yes, the new CCC doesn't add anything new, only a new layout to the 3D options.

I just did a clean install and everything is fine. Unlike in the beta drivers, now I can access the switchable graphics menu. However, I have a problem with Assassin's Creed III, the game keeps freezing and get crashed after some time of playing. But I think it may come from Windows 8, not from AMD, on Win 7 I never had this problem.

Windows 8 under the hood core for hardware support is much better than Windows 7. It could be anything, but more likely, it's a crappy port and Ubisoft didn't do any thorough testing to make sure it was sufficient and still don't care to fix it.
    - If it's running Uplay, disable the Uplay overlay support. That often crashes, even for Far Cry 3, it's a real POS. UPlay is horrible.

So i just updated to 13.1 and also the newest intel hd 4000 drivers (12/18/2012) and I still am getting low scores on 3dmark11, P1942 is the score I am getting. I uninstalled the 12.11 before so I don't know what the issue is. My power setting is set to performance and also I have 3dmark11 set to high performance in the switchable graphics. Though when I installed 13.1 and I went into the switchable graphics menu it had all my programs already there, can that be a problem where some files were not completely removed? If so what are the safe ways of removing the left over files from the old driver.

So far no BSODs with 13.1 whql

My benchmarks did suffer a slight decrease in scores:
    3dmark11 wnet from 6610 to 6590
    3dmark Vantage: from 23353 to 22823

haven'tn tested 06 yet but i expect similar decreases.
nothing relevant, but hurts a bit to have lower scores, even if its a marginal loss.

    I installed CAP2 as well.

4 consecutive reboots and no BSODs yet. Temperatures also showing up again in Kombustor. Cautiously optimistic about this driver! I'll post again with performance details.

I uninstalled the BETA 11 & installed this. Now I can't see any options in CCC. Just some basic options like resolution, etc..
Also, there's no more "Switchable Graphics" option anywhere anymore.

Tried uninstalling just the CCC component & reinstalling the one from 12.11 BETA. Same results. Switchable Graphics options just seem to have vanished. CCC opens up, but all it has is "Add/Remove Displays" & "Display Management" which barely has any options.

EDIT: It seems the card is not being used at all. Games were running off the Intel HD4000. In Device manager, I can see the new driver, 9.12. But the CCC doesn't have any options.. & there's no Switchable Graphics.
    I'm on Windows 8 x64.

    Any help, anyone?

Does anyone know why CCC isn't detecting my tv or built in display, with this version or any previous versions?

All I get on the control panel is this.
    http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/3954/82139327.jpg

It should look something like this, that's also how it looks on my pc. I'm hoping if I get this displaying properly I can stop it from switching to 1080i in DX10/DX11 games.

So far I'm very satisfied with this driver. From the moment I installed it I had zero problems-kombustor with temperature works, no bosd on startup, 3d mark scores around the same, but the biggest diffrence ist that bf 3 now worls every time I launch. Didnt test F1 2012 yet, which had problem launching on high performance mod with every driver- will install and report.

Right Click "My Computer" -> Properties -> Device Manager -> Display Adapters -> Right Click "AMD 7970M" -> Properties.

That'll give you the date & the version of the driver that's currently installed. What I had posted were the details from the first post of Guru3D, so you could verify that the version that you have installed is, in fact, the one you intended on installing.

I stopped having BSODs and no crashes so far in the games I tried. I rebooted 5 consecutive times while plugged in just to be sure. I always had trouble with that in previous drivers. Overall this driver seems a lot stabler so far. :)

Edit: There is one issue I have noticed in some DX11 games (like Crysis 2). When VSync on, the games seem to think my refresh rate is 50 Hz and FPS never go above 50. In other games like Sleeping Dogs it doesn't happen. :S

Prior to installing any new video driver please make sure to uninstall the old video driver, reboot your computer and then run a driver cleaner! Don't be surprised if this driver doesn't function correctly on your system if you skipped any of the steps above.

Looking forward to benchmark results and stability feedback from this driver, particularly for those with Enduro.

EDIT: Working now.. Needed some different installation approaches. Explained in the post after this one.

No. It could end up irreversibly harming your system by removing files that aren't supposed to be removed, especially with a multi-card setup. Hell, I've had problems before with other computers because of registry cleaners deleting stuff it shouldn't be touching.

All you need to do is uninstall the previous drivers using the tool with the drivers, and install the new ones. Or, you can simply install over them if there is no conflict.
