The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Any 9873-S (from XOTICPC) owners experience these issues?

    @Meaker@Sager mine is the 6700k :/ bought it just before the 7700 came out, but mine is also slightly undervolted. When i sent the email over to Pat i mentioned that the cord from the brick to the back of the PC was rather short compared to my older Sager laptop, and the cord does seem to come loose from time to time, not sure if that's maybe what caused this issue?

    The cord is shorter on the 330W bricks to help reduce losses in the cable. If it were just the power chord showing damage and the machine booted I would not be so worried but it's hard to say what the damage on the connector is like.
