That's the Medion Akoya P6622.

I don't think Medion rebrands Clevos but they do clone more than a few MSI devices.

Asus •NX90 (18.4”
thats interesting... -

-
less interesting -
Yah I wish Kaltmond could come clean. I heard him talk about this x7200 which I so want to believe. Since Cebit is over, this x7200, which is supposed to be a 900f with SLI, is seeming less real now. I could settle for the x8100 if it had direct x 11 cards. Thats kind of important to me.
-
i thought it was a 16 inch laptop .....
-
So did I :S
-
A lot of the tech news sites don't do updates on the weekend so there's still some CeBit info to be posted on Monday.
-
Like fudzilla
-
NYC Drifter Notebook Evangelist
ghn was there and reports:
"We saw no new notebook GPUs other than the current HD5870 in ASUS. Clevo showcases its X8100 which uses the nVidia GTX 285M (alone and SLI Mode).
For PCs nVidia GTX480 was being shown from Gigabyte.
cheers ..." -
engadget updates on weekends and had nothing ssadly..
-
Here is a video from german Clevo reseller mySN.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuO-6zn1Dy0 -
Was the second machine, with the Mobility Radeon 5770, a Clevo?
-
Hard to tell. He didn`t say anything about a name.
-
It definitely didn't look like a Clevo.
-
-
Sort of a bummer we didn't get any real interesting new anouncements, to tell you the truth after they released the new models last year I didn't think they would have anything substantial.
But I was hoping. -
So in that video, Didn't that first laptop have the new 980X processor or what this "gulftown" chip is( the one with 6 cores and 12 threads) If true, pretty impressive for a laptop. Just wish it had ATI 5870.
-
there is no indication which cpu is in it
the label just says extreme desktop cpu -
EDIT: NVM, its a 285m.
I would buy it if it had a 5870. -
mySN presented at CeBIT in Hall 23, the first notebook with Intel's new 6-core CPU (Core i7 980x) and other mobile news. -
Pretty impressive.
Now if it had SLI it would be something.
Don't think it's intended to be a gaming laptop but it will surely be able to game very, very well. -
I hope Clevo announces something new soon. -
PAX is up next in a couple of weeks....
-
If it is reality I hope it's in a smaller and lighter model than that laptop
-
-
Hope that fits in the NP8690? I will be looking to upgrade to that
-
No, that is a gulftown (read: desktop) chip.
-
Oh wow how did they get it in there then and not in the 8690 ?
-
Desktop extreme processor in the NP8690? Not gonna happen
-
They made it that way.
I eat my words ... didnt ocme out during Cebit O'well its worth waiting for -
Oh right so its not going to be an option on any notebooks ?
-
Just the ones that use desktop CPUs.
-
Got ya. 10char
-
A desktop chip needs an entirely different chipset. That chipset is in the D900 - only. The TDP is huge. Like tripple the amount in your 720QM.
-
not always look at the Asus w90p for example
-
Upon further inspection, the sticker confuses me. At the top, it says 17.1", but in the details, it says the display is 18.4".
-
meh .... every one is slow at one time or another
-
-
I would love that 6 core with a mobility 5870.
If possible SLI. That's why I would love the x7200.
But if they don't announce anything soon I guess I'll go with the W870CU. -
Below is a video of a D900F for comparison purposes:

Is its only that reseller Germany is lucky.
EDIT: I can't find anything about it on mysn.de.
Yeah It's probably a D900F. -
It's definitely 17.1', the guy say it in the beggining, QXM-Sieben(which is 7 in german). Don't we have any germans here?
It's this one... http://www.mysn.de/detail.asp?useri...orienOrder=010;020;015;070&bestellnr=adnx0001 -
