To clarify - are these machine iterations of old designs (like the PC50) - or entirely new designs?

Can someone please tell me what the Plastic Casing is called for the clevo power adapters? I want that Holder for my dual Bricks but i have scourged alibaba and Aliexpress to no avail. I do know that they are shipped out with current X170SM Models. And I would like to order just the Holder without the power bricks. The Clevo Part number would already be helpful. Thanks in advance.

That CPU supports only PCIe 3.0 so keep that in mind.

Are the overdrive settings on the Clevo X170 SM-G LCD controller user adjustable ?

And do you know if the X170 SM-G LCD overdrive settings different than the X170 KM-G ?

Does anyone know if Sager/Clevo is planning on releasing a gaming laptop with 4K OLED display? I personally don't mind the 60Hz refresh rate and like the quality an OLED panel brings to the table.

Yes they did so with the PC50DR-D, however the severe worldwide computer components shortage crisis squashed its full release.....

That's a bummer. I guess it's time for some sweet Alienware m15 R4 with OLED panel.

I guess this has been asked before, but I'm curious to different resellers' stances toward warranty and repasting:

When performance begins to suffer due to deteriorating paste do you consider it part of the warranty to take it back and repaste it?

If it is paste, no, repasting will be the User's responsibility.

If it is LM, if done right, it shouldn't have to be redone for years...well beyond any warranty period.

I've talked with some resellers on here in the past, but I have a purchasing question. In addition to my main credit card, I'll have 3 other credit cards to use that have a balance I need to use off of them. My question is, I'd like to purchase a Clevo X170KM-G with a 3080 and a 300hz 1080p panel. If there is a reseller that could accommodate this please reply back to this post or DM. I will be happy to pay an extra credit card processing fee for the trouble. @Donald@zTecpc - I may be ready to purchase from you all if this is possible.

Sure, we have ways of using a combination of cards for your purchase.

Unfortunately, we will not be offering the KM-G with RTX 30x0 GPUs until Clevo has worked out its RAM issues (not being able to run DDR4/3200MHz in all slots) and Prema finishes his Custom Prema BIOS.

Any rough timeline of you selling those laptops again? I take it that the people who are selling them now can't run four sticks of ram currently?

The issue has been known for a few months now, with no fix. I would not venture a guess as to when it might be fixed.

Is this the best place to ask where i can buy a new keyboard for a Powerspec 1530 laptop? It is built by Clevo for Microcenter. The clevo model is PB71DF2-G, the Sager model is NP8378f2. Microcenter doesn't sell them on their website or in stores. I'm interested in an official keyboard made by Clevo or Sager. Ali express and eBay have some keyboards which claim to be compatible, but I don't want to pay $60, wait for a month for it to arrive, and find out that it doesn't work, or isn't as good as the original one.
I found this information on the back of the keyboard:

    keyboard model number - CVM19N23USJ4301
    P/N :6-80-NH5A0-011-1
    S/N :2017063317M
    Vender:CNY-WJ

I'm also looking for another battery and ac adapter made by the same company that made the original.

    Any help would be appreciated

If this isn't the best place to post this, please tell me where the best place would be.
