Hi, now I have here a Mifcom P775TM1-G with an old Bios. I wanted to upgrade to the newest .29 version to get an 9th gen CPU working. But I can‘t get it working. I tried via Efi shell in the Bios, tried via USB-Stick and in Windows. Every time it says ROMID is not compatible. I downloaded the Bios from XMG Ultra 2019er Version.
Can anyone help? Don‘t want to disassemble the whole Laptop to desolder the chip.

Maybe you should try to flash newer BIOS version in DOS?
    1) Make USB stick with FreeDOS installed on it (I use Rufus to do this).
    2) Copy all files from archive to root of USB stick.
    3) Copy BIOS file to root of USB stick.
    4) Rename P7xxDM3.rom in step4.bat and step5.bat to your BIOS.rom filename.
    5) Reboot P775TM1 to BIOS.
    6) Disable UEFI Mode. Enable Legacy Mode (Or Enable CSM compatability )
    7) Boot to flash drive (Press F7 during boot and choose USB stick)
    8) Enter step1 (Laptop will reboot with full fan speed set).
    9) Boot to flash drive (Press F7 during boot and choose USB stick)
    10) Enter step2.
    11) Agree with message.
    12) Wait till flash ends.
    13) When laptop shuts down, disconnect power adapter and battery.
    14) Wait 30 seconds.
    15) Plug in power adapter and battery.
    16) Boot your laptop.

Voila! You flashed BIOS and if you want - reset BIOS by clearing CMOS.

Also doesn’t work. I read that I have first to update to 1.05.16 and after that I can flash to .29
    But repo.palkeo is not available.
    Anyone has this Bios?

I got it working. First .16 then .20 and then .28 Bios. But it works only with the the flashing tools from Repo. With XMG it doesn’t work.
