Will the 11.5 drivers for 6970M posted here work with Sager NP8150? I downloaded 11.6 from AMD but it wouldn't install due to "incompatible/missing hardware"...

This one worked on my friend's laptop: 11-6_mobility_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc_ocl.exe

The drivers that installs with no problems are the ones with the OCL on the filename. I couldn't find it on the AMD site so I uploaded it to mediafire since it was on my drive already. See if that works or not and post the result on this thread.

EDIT: Make sure you use DriverSweeper on AMD Drivers since they leave a lot of crap behind after you uninstall them.

    @Atmosk
I downloaded and install the 275.5 beta (im using gtx580M) but i forgot to use your modded INF. Although it installs with no problem other than the Microsoft signature pop up alert upon installing. Is that ok or i could be missing something and could impact a decrease in performance?

    thanks.

You're fine, in the modded inf I just added support for a few types that were missing at the request of someone with a version not supported by default.

    Hi guys
I have a prob with pixelation around icons text and mouse cursor in Windows 7 on the p170mh. The display panel comes up as a Generic PnP Monitorand i can only get it to 63hz
Is there a driver i can get to correct this or is that what everyone else has got?

PS - I also have a unknown device "PCI Simple Communications Controller". anyone know what driver would sort that one?

    Thankyou

63Hz is more than the stock panel is capable of (60Hz) so that may cause sparkling as you are seeing it.

The PCI Simple Communications Controller is the Intel Management Engine (ME) Driver needed.

I also have the pixelation problems (GTX 560m, np8150), I think this problem somehow relates to the 1080p native resolution.

    Ask and ye shall receive.

    Forceware 280.19 beta

The .inf file has support for the 580M. I also installed it on my 560M-equipped notebook without the need for modification.

Hat-tip to Red Line who posted about the driver here.

hi, so I recently got a Clevo W150HRM. could anyone jsut help with which drivers to install from the first post?
it's an i3-2310M so is the first 'intel chipset' link the one that goes with that?
apparently the sound card is 'Intel 2 Channel HD Audio' so can i use the realtek driver?
wireless should be 'gigabit LAN & wireless' so do i use the JMicron Gigabit LAN Driver version 6.0.30.8 ?
any help appreciated. meanwhile I'll keep looking to see if it's been said elsewhere. thanks.

I have the Realtek RTL8188CE combo PCI NIC. The bluetooth was a separate driver that is called CSR Bluetooth Device and says the driver is supplied by Motorola. That link looks like it may have it. Thanks.

All the latest JMicron drivers here:
    ftp://driver.jmicron.com.tw/

Cardreader, Ethernet and FIREWIRE (no one posted the firewire driver till now, still i highly recomend it, i do professional audio and without this driver everytime i connected a firewire interface it would eat up a full cpu core... with the driver it´s ok, still Jmicron is a crappy controller, wich i knew that before i boght the P170)...
