it depends on what kinda hardware ure talking about. but then again, i wouldnt go with the EM drivers if ure looking to upgrade ur system. just check what hardware u have and which drivers u need and google ur way to station-drivers.com
based on personal experience so far, i was able to find pretty much everything i need on that site :)

The Authentec fingerprint reader works on Windows 8 perfectly with the Win 8 driver. There is no need to install a different driver.

Hi ! I'm getting my sli680m p370 soon, and I'll be playing in 3D. Do you recommend I upgrade the video drivers on the Nvidia website, or should I stick to the clevo releases ? I always got them from Nvidia, but I think I read somewhere that with clevo one'd have better get the drivers from clevo. Thanks !

Depends on the games you play, for Battlefield 3, 302.77/302.92 are still the best driver out there. 306.97/310.64 do give FPS improvement but they don't run BF3 smoothly, sudden drop on FPS at some moments, not sure about the Sli performance though.

After clean install Windows 8, right after first boot, install latest realtek driver for 8188CE and all will be fine. Also you need to know 8188CE got hardware problem. Sometimes youneed disable it before shutdown.

Hmm yeah I saw those. I didn't look at the 2nd number 31/28 carefully and only looked at 2885/2897, late night. Anyway, going to give them a try.

    http://www.file-upload.net/download-6880960/15.31.64.2885.rar.html

Edit: Ok I installed them and they are indeed older than the 2897. These are dated November 8 and the real numbers are 9.17.10.2885

It's an unfinished series 15.31 driver. Original leak from here: 3DCenter Forum - Intel - RC Treiber 15.31.64.2885 - Ivy Bridge & Haswell

Build 2897 is newer but that's a series 15.28 driver, so they are not comparable. 2885 is worth a try for Ivy Bridge users.

    Build 2885= 15.31 series
    Build 2897= 15.28 series

I guess wee see an official 15.31 release around the upcoming Haswell launch. 2897 is officially available on Intels page btw: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?lang=eng&changeLang=true&DwnldId=22182

thats indeed a very good question aaaaaand.....i guess a long time ago :p

time for new OP? new thread? we should probably do a different system this time with the updates. like share a dropbox account so that anyone can update the drivers? for one person alone its just too much hassle over a longer period of time i guess...

Maybe a notebookreview google drive account? but then again when there is sharing of files, there is the chance of malicious software, I think a new post is in order.

I'll make a post when I get home from work, I have all the latest drivers on my harddrive and both my systems (nvidia/amd) are running very stable.

Hey guys, I was wondering; is the OEM even gonna release newer nvidia driver ? I'm too used to desktops so I don't understand why I wouldn't be able to run the last drivers without any problems :p. Because it seems there has already been a few number of releases between Nvidia and the OEM versions... And I can assure you the new drivers, for 3D vision users, are often night/day on new games, so I'd be annoying to have to wait a few months or even a year for clevo to adapt the driver (I don't even understand why it would take so much time ? ). There has to be an explanation... Are the clevo (eurocom in my case) releases tailored for the system, or is it simply that it was the current WHQL version of the driver that was never updated after the model was released ?
Did some of you upgrade past the OEM versions ? Was there any problem ? Because there are so many people talking about how bad it is not to stick to the OEM drivers. I mean, if it's like desktops, most of the time the Nvidia upgrades will actually help a lot, and rarely - but you can just roll back to the previous version or go for the beta - some updates will have annoying issues. But yeah usually it just gets updated for the better...
Edit : Eurocom (and so, I) have version 306.68. Google seems to think that it is a driver optimized for quadro cards. I'm pretty sure that if it's the case, that's not gonna be better than WHQL releases.

AMD Embedded GPU and APU Driver for Windows Vista/7/Win 8

These are dated November 6. Driver version 9.10.000. The Beta 12.11 11 are 9.010.800. Don't see any changelogs or if they are better than the 12.11 b11. But these are labeled 12.12 for APU/Embedded. I installed em anyway via device manager.

FYI there is an updated AMD drivers on Clevo website, it seems to be based on the Enduro performance 12.11. You have to download from Asia server since US/Euro still downloads the ancient drivers from July.
