Clevo Driver Thread

FYI don't use the THX update posted by another user.

I looked at the files and it has special files modified for MSI.

If you run setup just before it starts you will even see it mention the MSI tools it installs as part of it.

The Sager installs a generic version of those said tools and also one other element.

Just thought would share... I was going to use it in hopes that one would save the settings after reboots but decided not to because of that.

 

Can you please be more specific on where is that THX update posted by another user that we should avoid?

At no point did I say they would not work, I simply said that custome files are being used not for Sager and others are missing that are.

Run the setup and read all the screen one by one. Like the last screen is installing things for MSI boards, which is what that download came from, MSI.

Run the sager one and you will see a number of additional things the MSI does not have being installed.

Each vendor has custome THX software and if an update is out for the said vendor you can update via the check for update function in THX.

Thank you I found them.
I also had a issue with installing these drivers while hooked up to a second monitor. For some reason after I installed and unhooked the second monitor it kept trying to open programs on that monitor. Once I re-installed the drivers without the secondary monitor I have had no problems.

hm, anybody else have problems with the newest realtek audio drivers (6564)? cant get them to work properly with the THX TruStudio Pro, neither the 1.04 nor the 1.03 version. gonna go ahead and try some older audio drivers, see if this issue persists....

had the same problem with many different versions realtekhd audio versus thx... sounds like from metal pipe with too much bass, no words from talking peolpe in movies, they sound like muted... unless i turn off thx, then everything works just fine... only original drivers from DVD work ok 100%.

 

huh alright, ill try those as well....thing is that THX doesnt work at ALL, cant even activate it and without it the sound is just reaaaally crappy and tinny...

Same issue for me...try setting THX to headphones and that will solve it.

 

heads-up: resolved my issues, it wasnt because of the different audio drivers but apparently i was using the wrong version of THX software

Hmmm weird... I have the same version but still the sound issue is there.

 

same here. even i installed version that came on the drivers dvd it randomly souns like from metal pipe with muted voices. it fixes when i turn off surround tab and dialog plus tab.

 

check and see if u got the correct Clevo version of the THX TruStudio Pro. As i said before, there are several different tools out there, all with the version number 1.03.01, but only the clevo version works properly!

used version that came with my computer and worked just fine before and also tried the one that u posted here.... both failed, i think it has to do something with audio driver also. when it has that "muted" sound and i unplug my external speakers it is just fine. and also sometimes it does the problem, sometimes not... i listen internet radio and for example everything sound right (music, talking) and when certain comercials go on the sound of voice sounds like from metal pipe and far away.... after commercial everything is again normal. when i use audio driver that came with my computer everything is ok... even with latest downloaded thx without activation shortcut on the desktop. there is some issues between different versions of thx and audio drivers

Where do I get the latest version of THX Studio Pro? I have the Clevo version 1.03.01. As I understand, I need to install and activate Clevo 1.03.01 first and then I can update to a non-Clevo latest version without any problems, right?

 

thx trustudio pro has an auto update feature in it's menu settings but the latest update is 1.03.01, it also depends on what you'll update if it will work or not.
