You can't disable it, but the Clevo's don't have the performance problems with Enduro that Alienware has. Some people believe it is because the Clevo's are running a newer version of the driver. Everyone that has had a problem with their 7970m on their Clevo has gotten it fixed pretty quickly.
The 7970m is still the fastest mobile graphics card. It's definitely worth it.

As for the issues with the 7970m, except for the fact that Enduro cannot be completely disabled, I dont really see any issues. But considering the fact that the Clevo cards do not suffer the fps dips seen in the Alienware laptops even this so called issue can be ignored.
The main point of concern now is of course the probability of further delays which will agitate almost every person waiting for their laptops. If that doesnt happen then everything is good for anybody purchasing the 7970m. There might be small minor issues with the 7970m which will be gradually fixed in the following driver updates.
Note : I myself am waiting for my NP9170 with the 7970m ordered on May 13th. -
Just one thing. My italian reseller, in the last update, told me that he will receive 7970 for the 10-11 June. Is it possible for you? -
-
I was asking you if it is possibile that 7970 will be avaible in Europe for mid-June. I think they will take more time -
Granted, as you have taken into consideration, there MIGHT be a variation in when the resellers around the world receive their cards but as of right now, we have been told it is ESTIMATED to expect them around that time. I don't think there will be a huge gap in when everyone receives them.
If your reseller has told you they are expecting them on the date given, I would probably take their word for it. -
Is this card available in crossfire mode across any of the clevo models?

Let me paraphrase an oft repeated sentence in my work field, which you might have kept in mind before selling your gaming laptop
I'll believe it when I'll see, in the hands of the delivery man at my doorstep, with my name on the box.
(For those wondering it's an aviation bit when discussing new aircraft rumors: I'll believe it when I'll see it: on the ramp, in company colors.) -
The Sager NP9270 was the only known current-gen gaming laptop that would have offered multiple graphics cards. Sager has delayed their NP9270 due to unknown issues and it is unknown if they will re-introduce it to the market. -

Sager engineers obviously need less coffee and more sleep at the moment.
