Just signed up on NBR so I could express my appreciation for just how useful this thread has been to me for my p870dm3-g build. Thanks to all of you!
And here's my own two cents about an issue I had with the 19.3.4.58 (which actually contains the 19.3.4.44) touch pad driver. One of my peeves when using a touch pad is interpreting "taps" as mouse clicks. So, I disable all such nonsense in Win10 settings to prevent errant screen navigation, but in spite of this, tapping still registers as clicks using this driver. I notice that this driver version was "stolen" from another Clevo model, so I downloaded the Clevo website version (19.3.4.31), and it resolved this annoyance. Either there is a model dependency or (maybe more likely) they just inadvertently broke this in the later version(s).
Thanks again for all the efforts that have been put into this thread!

Realtek_hda_v6.0.1.8036. Follow instructions above, just skip "Have disk" method, instead run setup.exe to install HDA drivers.
RS2 support started w/ v6.0.1.8072. Still, all existing driver packages (incl. v6.0.1.8083) lack some of the required DLLs for Clevos...OP's v6.0.1.8018 is actually v6.0.1.8004 .
Credit goes to 2bad for unlocking drivers & Pihto's patcher.

Uninstall 8010 using device manager, incl. "Delete the driver software for this device" Since you already installed 8010 cert. there's no need to install the certificate anymore, just right click RltkAPO64.dll (8036) and check signature details.Last edited: Mar 17, 2017infex likes this. -
Nice!
Yep, check "Delete the driver software for this device" -> reboot.
@Swick1981 you need to kill the audio service before copying RltkAPO64.dllLast edited: Mar 17, 2017Spartan@HIDevolution and infex like this. -

Is it just one of those words that we spell differently in Queen's English and American English?Spartan@HIDevolution likes this. -
Meaker@Sager Company Representative
It's a different word meaning a slightly different thing but both could be used to describe and odd set of drivers which come together to allow the complete system to operate.

After having checked the dictionary (Oxford variety), well it appears to be the more appropriate word of the two for the context.
Thanks @Meaker@Sager.

Uninstall both Realtek & Nvidia HDA drivers -> reboot.
Disable driver signing.
Select "DHT(release)" option for Home Theater v4.
Before rebooting add this reg key:
Code:Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Audio] "DisableProtectedAudioDG"=dword:00000001
You could also try out JRiver, WDM device/driver and this to correct the internal speakers (loop back cable) and/or Equalizer APO (at a system level), due to Realtek drivers the latter will disable enhancements (DHT), although SFX/EFX (experimental) prevents this from happening under playback devices (only) it still causes issues w/ Win10, and the other workarounds like unchecking "pre-mix" or "use original APO" won't restore DHT.
Best sound quality...Hendrik Leppkes LAV filters developer is also part of JRiver's development team.Last edited: Apr 1, 2017ssj92 likes this. -
Realtek_HDA_v6.0.1.8105
Requirements: v6.0.1.8036 previously installed to keep DLLs (8105)
For those who already installed v6.0.1.8036 above, just overinstall 8105 using "have disk method" -> HDXMB3H.inf *Second Option* as shown below (no need to reinstall certificate).
First, kill audio service then copy RltkAPO64.dll to C:\Windows\System32 (follow instructions above...installing certificate).
Win10 RS2 'Spatial Sound'...' Dolby Atmos for Headphones'.

@j95 So I installed the new driver and works fine except that the sound is really low where at volume 10 it was adequate, now i have to keep it at 20-30 to maintain the same level at 10. any solutions? it could be just me.... I also noticed your codec is 892 mine is 898?

realtek hd audio driver v6.0.1.8152 came out recently on Station Drivers and MS Update Catalog
Like with many of the 81xx drivers & several 80xx drivers, v8152 lacks the Creative MBAPO2 files as well as the gwfilt64.sys & mbfilt64.sys files for Creative SBC/SBX audio integration with Realtek.
The v6.0.1.8053 drivers from Gigabyte [ US] [ EUR] (and 8051 drivers from ASRock) are the last ones with actual Creative audio integration.Last edited: May 16, 2017 -
ah forget my advice (and @2bad & @j95's) in my previous message.
There were v6.0.1.8090 drivers from the Sager Notebook site that has Creative audio integration DLL files included - although listed only for the Sager NP7850 / Clevo N850HP6 laptop [posted 5/17/2017], they may also work for the Clevo P870DM2/3 laptop.
And recently Gigabyte has released a customized v6.0.1.8142 driver (for Gigabyte X299 AORUS Gaming series motherboards - released 6/02/2017) that have Creative audio integration in them, which may also work for certain Sager/Clevo laptops with either Sound Blaster X-FI MB or Sound Blaster Cinema on them. Download Gigabyte's 8142 drivers from either here or here. -
Great I got the latest drivers and I now have dolby atmos access.

realtek_hda_v6.0.1.8210
Uninstall current drivers, no need to install 8036.
Extracted driver package -> run setup.exe, follow instructions above to install certificate (RltkAPO_8210).

A question.. I mostly use stereospeakers on p870dm-g, DHT works I guess. Not too much different than normal, but adds a little sweet surround, just writing this to understand it's working right or should I expect a difference like on SBX pro? And to check for headphone I clicked DolbyAtmos for headphones and it directed me to Windows Store for Dolby atmos 30 days trial. Should I buy it? Is it worth? -

Hello everyone,
I have a problem to install my SM951 128GB M.2 PCI-e.
The new system has an 512 Samsung Pro 850 SSD and this 128gb M2.
So I started a new windows installation on the 512 Samsung.
Then in Windows itself I can not find the 128GB M2.
In the Bios there is it, but I saw that the setting is on RAID and the M2 is on Non-Raid status.
But I cant change it. Is there any possibility to install this M2 or do I have to reinstall with AHCI.
The system had both drives as I got it, so it has to be possible under RAID, because I didnt change this setting in BIOS.
Thank you for your help.
It is a P870DM3 with Prema Bios.
Br,

Extract driver package and run the setup.exe; exit installer without rebooting.
Install certificate: Right click "RltkAPO64.dll" (RltkAPO_8295) -> Details -> view certificate -> install certificate -> Select "Trusted Root Certification Authorities".
Kill Audio service.
cmd (Admin) type: net stop audiosrv
Now copy modded RltkAPO64.dll to C:\Windows\System32
Finally, reboot.

@j95 check your PM. I know how to install WITHOUT having to import the cert! (Works perfectly, too!)
ALSO... To everyone else, I have a Win 7 ULT - with ALL updated drivers and the limited software included in a W7 installer - PLUS AL>L UPDATES!
Anyone wanna test?

I just recently got a P870DM3-G, it is running the stock Clevo bios.
The BIOS version is 1.06.03 and the EC is 1.06.01
Is this the latest? Should I try to get an upgrade? I am running a Kaby Lake CPU and it seems okay so far. I will say the fan profile is a bit tame. -
