It is hard to say. Some can sell without VAT making them the cheapest etc.
My advice would be to find the cheapest reseller around and talk to them personally via. mail or so, that should give you some form of advantage and idea of what you'd save ;)
Are you emailing them @ [email protected] ?

I got a reply from them within 12 hours two weeks ago. Maybe they are on vacation? Try calling them:
    • Telefon: +49 (0) 34601 3 04 27
    • Telefax: +49 (0) 34601 3 04 28

since prices in europe are usually much higher then in USA it might be usefull to check what EU sellers sell barebone clevos. it's much cheaper to build one.
ASSISMATICA in portugal sells barebones but imo they are still expensive.

European sellers generally quote prices with tax which makes them appear much more expensive than they actually are, so you have to take that into account. There is certainly no point importing from the US given the cost of shipping and potential rma.

Any idea if there's a company in the Netherlands or Belgium that sells only the barebones (inc cpu and gpu), so without ram and hdd/ssd?
Just like assismatica but only closer to where I live. (Belgium)

    Thanks in advance.

I have chosen to mark resellers that have had several bad customer experiences with marks.

I've gathered several complains from several resellers and I think it's about time to put some "notice" about the resellers that DO NOT play by the rules.

    Therefore I implement:

    CUSTOMER COMPLAINS
    - which is when a reseller has several complains (either through me or on the several places on the internet)

    SLOW COMMUNICATION
    - I've noticed that several resellers take their time with checking their mail, this WILL be marked

more marks might be added if needed

edit: COMMENT if you think I've misplaced a mark or if the company/reseller has improved. thanks in advance !

I have a somewhat lousy experience with Deviltech.

In my dealing with them, I found that they're very unfriendly, make you feel like they're doing you a favor for ordering from them, ignore anything they don't like, don't confirm whether they received the money or not, don't confirm anything for that matter and the customer is required to keep sending them E-mails over and over until they bother with an unfriendly one-line response, seem to not care at all about the customer and worst of all - offering stuff that they don't have available, blatantly lie about shipping dates.

I won't bore you with the details, but today was the last straw for me and I was forced to cancel my order with them and asked for a refund. I've learned my lesson, though - you indeed get what you pay for. Being treated that way isn't worth saving a few Euros.

Since I want a stable, friendly company to deal with this time around, one that answers quickly and knows how to handle customers, I've set my eyes on mysn.de. Have any of you had any experience with them to share?

Oh mother of god, DevilTech are once again selling Clevo's.. better put them on the list with warnings then

MySN.de has a excellent history of transactions and lots of people have had good experiences, but same goes to all the resellers.. some just have more then others :)

    Serious Congrats.

Would like to update on the RGE official page:

    RGE | Wix.com

Could you explain what makes them better?

With all the Clevos in the world, it seems somewhat stupid to say, this clevo is better than the other that is exactly the same .
Also did you buy anything CLEVO from assismatica? to actualy make that claim?any personal experience?
If so you should share it.

That's really nothing - Deviltech are really the worst you can think of. They treat you like you owe them something, only bother sending impolite, uncaring, one-line sentences in Emails, completely ignore you, leave you hanging for months with giving a **** about you regardless of how much you paid them, and to top it all, I still haven't received my refund, as their policy is to refund only two weeks after cancellation. Why exactly two weeks and whether this is legal is anybody's guess.

They're really the worst possible customer experience you can get. I can't even imagine what happens when and if anyone needs to use their warranty services. There's also this customer:
MSI GT70 barebone GTX 675M from Deviltech.de Unboxing - YouTube
Who keeps reporting in their forums about their awful heat-management job they did on his laptop and the fact he waited 4 months for it.

I'm one of the most patient and nice customer you can have, I rarely bother with questions and always keep my patience when dealing with any type of issue or hold-up, but these guys actually managed to get me lose my temper and answer rude remarks back to them like a punk teenager, and I never do that. I'm actually sorry I ever laid eyes on their cursed website. The only thing I can appreciate is that I only lost time and patience with them (hopefully, if they'll ever refund me) instead of getting stuck with their stuff.

    Customers - beware.

The warranty is only given by the store that assembles it.
No one would give you warranty for something you didn't buy from them.

    Hi guys!
I want to buy a laptop Clevo, with a 17.3 "screen, most likely P170EM. Budget up to 1500 euros. I am in Denmark.
Tell me what in the European online store to buy a laptop for the money with the maximum configuration.
Primarily interested in a good screen, processor and graphics card. Memory can be bought over time.
Maybe somewhere there is a discount? :)
    Thank you!

I bought my p170EM from MYSN.de during the football world cup. I got -5% (~100€ ;) since Germany had won a game the previous day :D. The ordering process was easy and fast and I would recommend the place to others as well :). I felt the pricing was competitive.

    What say about Notebookguru.de?

In Denmark 25% VAT. As a result, get much more German stores.

They are ok. Not the best.

I would recommend PWNPC's, MySN, MM-Vision (they aren't that expensive...) :) but hey the others are good too...

I will try to update my thread very soon as the OP looks like hell, sorry everyone.

jaug1337, Thanks about MM-Vision! '17.3” FullHD ( 95% dot High Quality Panel)', 3610qm, 8 gb, 7970, Intel 120 gb SSD less then 1500 euro! Very nice price :) But can they change keyboard to US International? I not found this option. I am Ukrainian, know only English language (little bit) and better will use US keyboard ("qwerty" with small "Enter").
In PWNPC for same configuration (17.3, 3610, 8, 7970, 120 ssd) price more 1600 euro. Too much. But they will do calibration screen and nice thermal paste for CPU and GPU.

ps. sorry for my english ))

its always worth contacting a reseller to ask about an italian keyboard. just because its not on the list doesnt mean they cant supply one.

And in any case, if MySN can't supply the keyboard do ask santech.it to supply you with a Italian backlit keyboard -so you can use it on your MySN

You'll save money that way ;) either way if MySN actually can supply it.. then the problem is solved

edit: MrDJ himself was too fast
