Did this fix the throttling everyone thought was the power supply in the 955 series?

1.0.34 was a version that Clevo created after we reported the problems - in part this was following the notebookcheck reviews and feedback.

It solves some problems, in that some of the programs which were tripping CCC to throttle now do not - however the system will still throttle when it hits the thermal and power limits. Before, some programs were being limited before they hit thermal or power limits. You can read more about this here:

It's still not perfect, but better.

    Right,

I guess my question is more "assuming I just plan to never OC is the 150W power brick sufficient or still a source of throttling in the 950 series?" ?

    Thanks XMG

I can wait for the update i feel its clevo's resposabilitny to do this,if not i would look elsewhere.I have been happy with the overclockabilty of my w650kk1.My gpu on this model also suspect to throttle.I did mange a FS bench of 7000.I also used the modded bios by dsanke god bless him and damafia gamer for posting the thread to install 8th gen.My gpu has never gone over 50c.Although i have wondered why on certain games and benchmarks gpu seems to throttle under 74c.Anyhoo

I've been using the latest version of Control Center 2.0, from the CCenter_180821 file off the Clevo website. it still has weird graphics stuttering issues once things warm up. The stuttering problem is NOT fixed.

best fix for now is to boot up then kill the hkey process in task manager after the laptop boots. That way the keyboard is lit up and you dont get the weird stuttering. That or use a 3rd party app but I can't get those to work.

Depends on which model laptop, and no, 2.0 isn't developed for any EoL models.

It is according to my understanding, not the control center itself causing the throttling, but the high oc rates, because of the power limitation, because it reaches the power limits and those are the throtteling moments I think, so if you want to use CC without throtteling just lowe 10-20 or 30 Mhz you oc rate, and you re good to go, it works for me, by 20, give it a try.

Where can you download 1.0.65? I only see 1.0.41 on the Clevo website in their download section, from August.

didnt read the thread but what i can say.... never ever ever use the clevo control center. its full of bugs and has the worst fan control on earth.
uninstall it and use this software: https://code.obsidian-pc.com/
with the keyboard LED and the fancontrol tool in manual mode you can actually enjoy a clevo.

    Yes, there is a
free tool called RLECviewer but it has no build in security functions and has critical bugs.
25 is nothing compared to the value you get. The owner is very helpful and if you have problems you can post in his thread on notebookreview.
