    Flashing the GPU has to be done manually with a programming device and 1.8v adapter.

    It was easy to flash vbios on an old gpu such as 980m.
    You mean it is much more difficult to flash vbios for newer GPUs such as 1080 or 1070 ?

    1080s on tm and dm3 models have different vbios right?
    Dm3 1080 can not be used on tm laptop and vise versa, am I right?

    If I flash 6.5b on it, would the screen come out without flashing new 1080 vbios?

    well as long as the vbios versions are full OEM stock, software flashing is possible iirc.

    May I ask how to do efi shell flash? A friend of mine flashed an earlier version for me which has some ethernet issue with 8400. I am a "programmer" and I heard that if I got bios broken then I do need a programmer lol (like ch341a?).
