    Does anybody know what this is on a Sager NP9150 screen?

    Why go for AMD in the CPU/MOBO combo?

    I would rather buy a intel i5 3570K with a ASRock Z77 Extreme 3 for example. An intel i5 is superior to that AMD cpu you're posting and it runs cooler too.

    And for 210 dollars after rebate, get yourself a 7870:
    AMD 7870

    @SynapseR

    Hi SynapseR,

    Thanks for the remarks and I agree completely with you. The suggestion is better than my choice in two aspects:
    1. Higher gaming performance
    2. Lower system & CPU power consumption
    It’s very tempting to run such a system with a good quality 400W PSU.

    The above configuration will not work for me because I would like to explore the new AMD 8 cores Vishera CPU. I’m curious how my current software developments are running on this architecture. That’s why I prefer 7850 with its ~ 5 deg C lower temperature and ~ 25W lower power consumption over the 7870.

    Sorry for the off-topic. I just wanted to answer and will not discuss my choice further.
