Hate to revive an old thread, but I recently got a S2716DG for my laptop with a 1070 and am experiencing this issue still on latest drivers. Only drivers I haven't had the problem on were the 378.92 as stated somewhere else in this thread. Anyone else still having this problem?

I had a similar experience and also downgraded. I was having the problem in PUBG and HOTS. Random stuttering, slower than usual frame rate. Downgrading made it better. Hopefully new drivers will be out soon.

You also downgraded to 378.92, or what driver did you downgrade to? Some games are telling me I must upgrade my drivers and I cannot do that while using my screen connected with gsync on.

Good point, I didn’t downgrade that far back, just to the 6/5/18 release 398.11. The newest one from 6/26/18 release 398.36 is the one causing me problems.
