    May 5th, went in on the 7th, which should give you a good idea of how long you'd be waiting. Basically a whole month, but I was stuck in the shenanigans, so if anyone were to order now, maybe they'd be more lucky.

    I ordered May 11th. Still waiting as well.

    I think it would be wise for companies not to advertise a product (even if there is an ETA for stock).

    This is the 1st and last time I do this. I'm really not happy about it.

    I agree, however, it is all brand new products, they were just released and when is anything new ever 100% perfect right off the bat? It is also good to allow for orders even when they do not have a product in yet because at least they can be processed and ready to go for when the time comes. The downside is first come first serve; on the other hand, if they were to get all of the stock in first and test everything, that would set things back a couple of months or longer, then you would really be looking at back orders and wait times for orders, but at the same time, it would ensure that everything is good to go. So yes and no, either way has its downfalls.

    As much as I want to optimistically look at things and of course there are times for that, but being more realistic and understanding that there will always be a chance that something may go wrong is the way to go. I haven't dealt with this sort of thing before either, and as many bumps there were along the way or when it got to the point where you're just like I'm done with this, things turned around for the better. And the people I've dealt with have been just great. I'm not against doing it again, but I'm going to be more careful rather than jumping right in, although I really did need a laptop as this one is about to explode hahah.

    Hope I shined some light on this matter, and you feel a bit better about this all.

    How is my laptop still not shipped? I swear if I don't get an email next week, I'm canceling and just buying an Alienware and asking for my Reflex experience thread to be deleted.

    This is absurd.

    You ordered on the 11th, a million others ordered anywhere from the end of April - when you did. Since it is first come first serve due to how they process orders and receive shipments of products then build / ship the orders its only a matter of time. The second batch of 7970m's which you ordered were faulty and had 80% of 100 failing to pass quality control. There was also a shortage in screens which took a couple of days. Everything adds up. Mine took 16 business days to ship, and thats without the 7970m.

    So far so good, especially after I installed the SSD. I downloaded the most up to date drivers from Sager's website which did take forever.

    I hope so NyreLy, I could really use it. Been doing my work in the basement (my macbook pro power cable decided to short circuit :S), and i prefer doing it beside my 3 month old daughter.

    I'm just debating if I should get the i7-3720QM as I "might" run some VirtualBox, I'm not sure though. Mark told me they don't carry the 3720 :S

    the processor should come from Sager since our laptops is being made over there and then ships directly to us, but who knows if they are in shortage of i7-3720QM since i never heard of that o_O
