This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    It's stable during pure air runs at this speed too though of course louder.

    Nice so the hybrid heatsink is decent then, as i am thinking of getting one as well for the X170KM-G some time next year. Hopefully do not need to mod the chassis. Whats the sound like on external Water pump??

    Going to re-plan my Custom laptop cooling system to include the chance of water cooling, also thinking of changing from Stainless Steel to Aluminum too.

    Depends on the pump you get and mount it. The D5 pump is nice and quiet. No internal mods required.
