Well, now we are waiting for the results of your system tests from you! How was the delivery? Is everything in order with the cargo?

Heatsink is on and fitted, temps look pretty normal on air..... and i've got a work gathering I have to go to tonight so wont be able to hook up the water cooling. Of course.

I did however get a lovely post card :)

How is you Texture Fillrate so high on your RTX 3070???? Mine is 259.2 GTexel/s Clocks look the same too??

Heck even your TMU's seems way off 96 is right but that 426 should be 160.

Stock the GPU just smashes to 125w even on air. Not too surprising so will look to shunt mod it now I'm happy the card runs.

That was after the driver install but it is a modded driver to get support. It will just be the values of a regular 3070 mobile.

As it is now the water cooling favours the GPU more and I can get about 5Ghz from the 9900ks sustained AVX.

Nice its showing the result as hidden bud so can't compare the GPU score to mine, nice overclocks i only have OC'd VRAM to +200 and no higher due to Power Limit, GPU core i have tried +64 which is where the drop off happens for benching on mine at least.

I can't wait for your Shunt Modding results though.

Yes, I can sort that out when my cooling is fully sorted. I think the CPU is going to spoke regardless just due to its thermal density.

It's liquid metal all through with a Rockit IHS.

Once I have plugs for the outlets on the notebook I can take it apart again :)

It was my first test fit that seemed good enough to run. I need to look at contact etc.

Temps look very nice during G1/G2! And the bigger die on 3070 sure runs cooler. Expect the temps to get even better when you get the new stuff. For comparison with the hybrid I've ran the same bench at 5Ghz max fans.

Yep its in my signature for all my best benchmarks results.

Each Extreme and Normal bits are links to results. I do have Ultra Firestrike too

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (notebook) video card benchmark result - Intel Core i5-11400 Processor,NB01 X170KMG (3dmark.com)

Just updated the Signature with the #1 for system spec.

Also bare in mind i haven't gone crazy with overclocks yet max on Core is +67 and VRAM has been +250 ish.

Dam, how many PSU's you've got or do you have a 780w psu for that NP9877 as i am sure the CPU is pumping close to 200w with 5GHZ.

The system was designed for a 9900K and a pair of 1080 cards, that setup consumed 650W from the wall if you went for it so this is small potatoes ;) It's a pair of 330W delta power bricks.

I'm delighted with the laptop. It's light. It's serviceable. It's upgradable. It has great cooling for its size and weight. The battery lasts 4 hours. It's everything I ever wanted from a laptop, except that it uses an ancient CPU, but that's not a deal-breaker for me.
Ok, stopping here before I derail this thread any further.

You mean you don't need to push it any more as you already beat me lol.

If only PCSpecialist would allow me to shunt mod with breaking warranty I would do so.

Both are nice scores though for your systems.
Your both lucky you don't have to put up with Nvidia's stupid dynamic boost logic.

That is true, but very much doubt Clevo will be removing the cancer ware from bios.

Although I can game at 144fps capped without issues so happy enough.
