    0.0.5.8: 14/10/13
    -added theme support
-fixed colorwheel bug now showing properly on custom color cycle panel
-added brightness driven only mode to audio panel

Since this version has themes, i suggest anyone interested in making a theme to read either the first post at TechInferno or clevomods | home of the Custom light controller and LightFX library as well as the theme.txt and readme.txt in the "template" folder theme.
ALSO, anyone who makes a theme please either post it here or send it to me.

Thanks again for the software but I running into some slight issues.

When I put the laptop to sleep or turn off the backlit keyboard the only way to get it to turn back on is to fully shut down the computer. It works fine with the standard hot key driver. Currently using the 8.0134 driver, have tried multiple versions with the same problem though.

    Setup

    P150SM
    I7-4700MQ
    780M
Windows 8.1 Pro(Same problem on windows 8 pro)
Latest drivers for all hardware is installed.

    Thanks alot!

Wont this have a wear on the LEDs in the keyboard? If it changes colors very frequently? : P

This also turns on and of the Nvidia GPU by frquently checking the temps? Isnt this not so good?

Does this work on the W230ST? I downloaded it and changed the settings; meanwhile, the keyboard is still plain old white.

No, leds don't wear out by changing colors. They will burn out eventually, but since the screen is probably lit by leds, those will burn out first, but not for a long time. They should last 10,000-50,000 hours or so.

The Nvidia GPU is never actually turned off. Instead it goes into a low power sleep type state. So I imagine pulling temp from it doesn't even wake it up. I am not 100% sure though.

From what I can tell ( had my gt70 two days) the gpu just bumps on for a second when I turn on cpuz. Light changes color, then flips back to white.

    Ok.

I just see the GPU indicator turning on and off frequently, assuming its checking the temps in cycles o/s.

EDIT: I might add that my CPU and GPU jumps up to 45-50 degree when I use the backlight app. When i quit and monitor with Speedfan/Backburner and both CPU and GPU drops down to 30-37 degrees real fast.

Or I think Backburner is doingsomething since it always drop to 37 degrees when i use Backburner.

What refresh rate do you havevset? A seven degree rise is not bad, but more than I would have expected. Is anyone else seeing this?

Backburner? Do you mean Autodesk Backburner? So does the temp drop with the backlit software and backburner? Does it also drop with just speedfan?

Sorry, shouldve said it was MSI Afterburner. I guess MSI-A is adjusting the fans somehow since in Speedfan it reads 45-50( Afternburner is not turned on)and in Afterburner GPU jumps fast down to 37 in both Speedfan and Afterburner.

And yes, my temperature color changes with its respective settings. If it is 50+ it is green. I open Afterburner and it just drops down to 37 and turns blue.

Just noticed. Pre-opening Light app its 35 degrees- I open light app and it bumps up to 47 degrees. in 3-5 minutes.

depending on the effect and refresh rate that you use a certain amount of temperature rise is normal. You should check the task manager to see what cpu usage the ledkb.exe process actually uses. For temperature mode you shouldn't see more than 1-2%. For adaptive color with a 50ms refresh you should see about 3-6%

That is not a bad idea. Another thought is CPU load instead of temp. With three zones you could monitor three cores, or use one zone to watch one core, or show the average. Same for GPU load. Pretty neat as is though.

I am just waiting for my P157SM to be built and it should be delivered in a week. I am happy to help out if I can. Although I am requesting that they remove the trackpad emblem, so I may not be the best tester.
