You can get adaptors to step down the voltage.

I have the same programmer with an 1,8v adapter shipped. Never had issues with 1,8v VBios flashing.
-
Of course, there will be no problems with a 1.8 volt adapter, but if it is not there))))
-
Hi,
In DMx clevo the 9900KS supported? -
Yes, with bios 1.07.29 9900ks

In the readme i read 1.07.24…. It there .29 version somewhere?
i will downclock to 4 or little higher… -
Thank you, I will keep this diagram in mind.
-
I won't, if the laptop is running good, for me is more than enough. lol. Thank you!
-
Thanks Meaker, however, I think it's not necessary, it's okay if the laptop is working fine
-
Thanks! As always, you're a lifesaver, I will do it today, as I was working away and couldn't try doing it.
-
Hello everyone! It's finally aliveeeee, took me a while to do it, but it's working, and with good temps for now, although I still need to run some games to benchmark.
I'm not planning to chance my processor for now, will keep the 6700k.
Just one more question for everyone, specially for @ViktorV . I dunno why, I can't install the Nvidia drivers for my RTX 2070, Do I need modded drivers or is there some other step I have to follow to install them?
Thanks again -
Update Windows to the latest version, maybe this is the problem, on older versions of Windows there is no support for RTX cards. I faced such a problem and updating the OS solved this problem. Also go to the BIOS and see if your video card is detected correctly.

Hello! The qqls mutant in the p775dm3g operates at 2.8Hz under load, and in idle all 4+ by the multiplier. Bios 9900ks-128 I changed the limit and voltage settings, nothing helps. What can be the solution?

I got that but you can post as long as you post a translation too so we all can understand and help of course

Thanks, I will try again, maybe I did something wrong with the power settings.

Well, I listened to you, I won't publish anything else so as not to infringe on the speakers of the true language in the world))) It's a stupid rule, people from all over the world communicate on this forum and no one demands to translate posts for them into their native language, this is some kind of unipolar rule isn't it?)))

Semantic arguments only work for politicians, none of which are here. Its a trade language and best for dissemination of information. He is not asking you to remove the communications that fall outside of English, but to translate it for the rest of us. I dont even think he expects a verbatim translation but important bullet points you felt was warranted to have conveyed.
I think taking off my shoes at the front door is a stupid rule, but when I go to Korea I respect the culture that I participate in.thewizzard1 likes this. -
Don't like the rules? Don't use the forum. It's a large community and English is a global language unlike Russian. It's a matter of respect to other members of this forum. Plain and simple

Guys, don't go on, please. I flashed the BIOS with a programmer and there are no problems. Qqls now works fully!
-
Good to know. Thanks for the feedback

I have a 9750dm-g, 980m gfx card, and running Danske bios w/ 9900K processor. Is it okay to upgrade to Windows 11? I didn't find any messages related to Windows 11 so not sure if there's anything like an ME firmware update or whatever else that could interfere with having the 9900k if I upgrade to Win11. I don't plan on updating the graphics card (if that matters).
-
Use this tool to check if you can run win11:

P770DM (Origin eon 17x) with i5 9500, processor is working great.
But the video card M3000m will not use more than 27-28watts, stuck on power level P5.
I tried this Bios and the other Coffee lake bios. I am using the one "old cards", my driver will not auto install, I have to force choose it in device manager and tell it to install.
It works, just slowly, fine for old games and temperature XD, but I'm looking to swap a 4k panel in when my eDP cable arrives.
How do I get the video card to use proper power levels? GPU-z says the card is "idle" -
Maybe you have the wrong VBios. Which AC Adapter do you have?
-
Using the Toshiba Qosmio 180w right now, 330w is shipping to me. Was the same with g5400t and 9500t processors, so not sure if it could be a power issue. Didn't see an ID pin in the cable. Power 19.3-19.2 volt reported by GPUz
Edit: this is the copy of the bios on my card, I uploaded it: https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/237817/237817
I would like to go to a P4000, but might put this in a salvaged Eurocom p770 if I can get it workingLast edited: Sep 30, 2021 -
I think it’s your AC Adapter. 230w is Minimum
-
It's possible, just not sure of logic, I went from 6700k(91w?) to g3500t (35w), there should be plenty of headroom, and the laptop should not know what power supply is hooked up, unlike a Dell or Lenovo with a power ID pin.
I'll find out with the 330w I guess. -
You need to modify the driver, not install it through the device manager. Through the device dispatcher, the driver rises crookedly and therefore you will have these problems.
-
Thank you, is there a guide? I was not able to modify the latest driver because I did not recognize the numbers in one of the files. It failed to install
-
Here is a universal modified driver for all video cards, to install it, go to the Test mode of Windows and during installation, in the message that this driver does not have a digital signature, we select to install this driver anyway. In order to enter the test mode of Windows, open the Command Prompt on behalf of the Administrator and enter the command bcdedit.exe -set testsigning on, press Enter, a message appears that the command has been executed, restart the laptop. In the lower right corner there will be an inscription that you are in test mode. Install the modified driver. https://disk.yandex.ru/d/Z6MDUhN648OMNQ Unpack the archive with the driver before installing
-
I can now install the regular driver R470 U4 (472.12), I don't know why it works today. https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/180812/en-us
I started install, then picked clean install and it rebooted to install the driver. still stuck in power state P5.
Update: I got the Maxwell Bios Editor and the "NVIDIA NVFlash with Certificate Checks Bypassed v5.287" and changed the clocks on P5 to 1080mhz GPU,1800 Mem (may go all the way to 2500 on the memory later), am getting 35-36w usage now and much better performance.
I still only get power levels P5 and P8, but that will work for me

So now I have also a problem with my P870DM2-G. Before that I successfully flashed a P771DM-G and a P751DM2-G with DSanke Bios. But P870DM2-G doesn’t boot anymore. I followed all the steps including updating GOP from the 1080 and flashed P870DMx_RTX.rom
Now I get a Black screen, and it reboots goes off and on every 1 or 2 minutes.
Maybe the DSanke Bios doesn‘t work with this machine? -
Bios Dsanke works quite well on this model. Did the laptop work before flashing the BIOS?
-
Yes of course. Did you flash by your own this model?
-
Yes, I stitched it and repeatedly
-
I found a Thread by SeaFoXXX who had same problems like me. And only a programmer would flash it correct on the BiosChip. I also think the flash didn‘t worked, because it was too fast.
-
So you made a mistake somewhere when preparing a bootable USB flash drive or while flashing a BIOS.
-
Now only the programmer of the microcircuit will help you
-
I have a CH341A programmer
-
And I mean this thread:
http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...tx-1070-to-rtx-2080-possible-problems.835258/ -
The person in this thread had a problem with the power supply, he did not hold the load due to swollen capacitors. I have flashed many Clevo laptop models and the problem of a black screen after flashing from a flash drive appeared stably only on the p870dm-g model, other models were flashed from a flash drive always stably and as expected. But I use a slightly different file package for the firmware and other instructions.
-
So I got it working again. But it seems that the flashing with the USB Device doesn‘t flash all the data’s. The next problem was that not every flashing software supports the Gigadevice 25B64CSIG Chip. Every time I tried to flash it gave me after verifying a fault. And the P870DM2 starts with a black screen. So after many reading and searching I found a Programm which supports the Chip. And now my P870DM2-G works with an I9-9900T ES.
which file package do you use?
