Pricing is already on our website. Pre-orders are piling up, so if you want one from the first shipment I would recommend getting your pre-order in as soon as you can. -
Thanks I ll check your website for prices but I ll have to work out the import tax as I am from the UK!!

No worries...we have a fix for that...email me for details. -
The jostling is hilarious.

Thanks Donald, for explaining everything, I ll just work out the total cost, of the exchange rate before confirming order!

My pleasure Sir! We will be here to serve you whenever you are ready!Mr. Fox likes this. -
Probably worth waiting a bit, the pound's rate has gone down a lot.. Have a look at a UK reseller like Scan, XMG or PC Specialist, probably might end up cheaper.. And if it isn't and you really need one urgently, go with Hide..

what fan noise levels?
P870DM2 this can take a real photo? -
Yes your right Tom, we are getting absolutely hammered by the drop of the pound, due to brexit, It was working out £2100+ for me so [did check out PC Specialist and they are quite reasonable with the prices with certain CPU configs but they don't have the 120hz screen yet, and when I contaced them they didnt even know about them,
so they have no clue when they will get them in, which is what I have been waiting for tbh]I ll have to put the purchase on hold for a while, as its way over my budget!

That assumes the rate will recover of course. Current predictions have it going the other way a bit more medium term. -
I think 1.20 is probably going to be the new norm.. All depends on how negotiations go or if the Euozone doesn't implode...

We will have to see, the uncertainty is causing a chunk of the fall.

Hey there,
I'm having the same dilemma as the OP except that I'm buying the machine for CPU-hungry work(using i7 7700k) and I don't need a GPU at all. Do you think P870DM2 would still provide better cooling for me? Others have suggested that
What do you think? (keep in mind I plan on using i7 7700k) -
Yes, get the DM2 with the vapor chamber... Much better machine overall. I cannot identity a good reason to consider a P7 as long as the P8 exists.Spartan@HIDevolution likes this.

Yes for the purpose of this discussion. There are some differences in the newer KM1, but conceptually the conclusion is identical for the same reasons.
I will try to refer to them as P7XX and P870 to avoid that next time. Many similar model numbers spanning multiple generations can be really confusing if you have not been following each one closely.Last edited: Apr 9, 2017 -

If you are really not pushing the GPU at all the P7 series can share the GPU portion of the heatsink and keep the CPU temps way down.
Get a P7xx model with a 1060.
P775DM3-G VS P870DM2 I was hesitant!!!
