That suggests the keyboard was taken out sharply without removing the cable first.

Yup sounds like my friend.
I didn't stress the GPU but he did , he played some games and said the laptop is stuttering and crashing. FPS limiter in game reduced stuttering and stopped crashing, weird.joluke likes this. -

He was making a joke about getting the P870TM sound board and reflash that other BIOS...I told him I ain't helping him fix it again and just to buy P870DM sound board lol -

Might as well respond to this...
Stuttering was due to having uncapped fps in game(GPU being the bottleneck). Setting the FPS cap lower fixed it. AMD has a feature called anti-lag for this.
Crashing was because of overclock.
Not that I use this often anymore. Switched to an AMD desktop.
