    Do you guys recommend undervolting the CPU and or GPU? How are you guys overcloking through the BIOS or the Clevo app?

    undervolting the CPU = Yes
    GPU = No

    How much should you undervolt? that depends on the clock speed you are running, it varies from CPU to CPU but for 4.2 GHz on all 4 cores a good start is -140mV

    No, I recommend overclocking (bumping core ratio) as far as you can to just use up the extra stock voltage rather than undervolting. I don't ever undervolt anything. I go the other direction and overvolt everything. I've never had a good reason to undervolt since I don't have any use for stock CPU clocks.

    As far as GPU, I just run them stock all the time unless I am benching overclocked. No need to fuss with changing anything on the GPU other than replacing the stock NVIDIA cancer vBIOS with one that actually works well.

    Yeah I'm 100 % with you Fox. The only processors who *need* undervolt is the puny weak soldered trash who can't hold max clockspeed within their low TDP. Forget <maxed> overclock of your K beast with undervolt :cool: Even with the best luck in the silicon lottery :D

    Are these temps considered normal at 4.5Ghz? Being a Silicon Lottery Chip I was expecting lower temps.

    Could you guys provide some feedback on how to lower them?

    You don't have the Prema BIOS yet which means so you are running the cache voltage at stock which is very high. you can either wait for the Prema BIOS or we can help you setup ThrottleStop to control the cache voltage and more settings

    Silicon lottery bin on maximum clocks at a given voltage, not the TDP it produces at that frequency.

    I fixed the issue for him, the problem was we were undervolting using the built in OC tool in Control Center but that only allows us to undervolt for the CPU and not the cache so I used ThrottleStop and applied a -80mV undervolt on his cache and now his temps are fine even at 4.5 GHz

    Choose Clevo vs AW, whatever deals you get from Dell.

    @Phoenix has been helping me out setting up Throttle Stop and have successfully OC to 4.5 Ghz. I was reaching nearly 96c before playing BF1 on Ultra and now the CPU won't even reach 80c.

    Very impressed with the P870DM3! So glad I went with Clevo and Hidevolution instead of the AW.

    Many thanks to Phoenix for helping me out the last couple of days!
