    1070 is just an undervolted, dwarfed and OCed 980...we kinda already had that last year to play with in SLI with @Mr. Fox system.

    Looking at some of the benchmarks, that setup is going to overheat to kingdom come.

    I think he has already said 1080 SLI several times. That's what I would want as well.

    The examples we have seen are very few. It may have an amazing cooling system with a half-a$$ed application of TIM and tape blocking the airways. I am expecting our views to change dramatically once @Prema and @johnksss and @Meaker@Sager have their new toys. We should be excited about almost everything except getting screwed out of the opportunity to upgrade our brand new DM-G machines. Hopefully, Clevo's wounds will be deep and leave permanent scars as a reminder of what happens when they mess with the wrong customers. I hope that they will walk away from this wise enough to never repeat the same mistake.

    Not sure why 2,130 is disappointing, seems like a good many people were willing to put money down in order to get to that amount. Especially considering this is the interwebs and people usually are very used to downloading things and not paying a drop. Also there are also others that donate directly to Prema too. Getting over 2k in donations for upgrades seems like a very nice deal for me. Maybe I am missing something.

    I suppose he meant the rate of donations has gone down and that is what was disappointing, there was a new donation every day, sometimes even twice a day and now we went a week without a new donation.

    That is something I want and to create a custom heatsink for my dad (I gave him my hm when I got a zm). But patience is a virtue and that can wait until later.

    Considering putting extra vrm on the 980m and custom vbios or figuring a way to throw a 1070 msi in the zm, if possible after mods and heatsink... Or just selling the zm and starting over... Or a desktop...

    Either way, first will be the laptops that headline his partner shops. Second is the custom....

    Edit: Prema beat me to it... Take anything he has said above what I just said...

    All completed W-Series Mods are readily available on the blog...didn't make any more than a few tests or unfinished betas...
    If you are just after a logo for your W230SS, sure no problem.

    He's asking if he could count on a Prema bios even buying the DM2/3 from a non-partner shop, a common question of European purchasers with little option but importing from the US or Dream machine, which I can't remember if it is in an EU member state or not... If it is, the import taxes wouldn't be an issue, but the cost is much, much higher importing from outside the EU because of tariffs!
