Those benchmarks are NOT from NVIDIA.
I have 8800GTX vs 9800GT benchmarks but unfortunately no GTS vs GT, will post some figures later![]()

Here we go:
Base spec
Chasssis - Kobalt Mojave (M570TU)
CPU - P9500
4GB 1066Mhz RAM
320GB 7200RPM SATA
Vista Ultimate 64bit
3DMark Vantage Scores 8800M GTX
3DMark Score - P4019
GPU Score - 3718
GPU Test 1 - 10.38fps
GPU Test 2 - 11.43fps
CPU Score - 5308
3DMark Vantage Scores 9800M GT
3DMark Score - P4003
GPU Score - 3708
GPU Test 1 - 10.32fps
GPU Test 2 - 11.42fps
CPU Score - 5308
As you can see, the GTX just edges ahead but it's not exactly something you'll notice unless you have a Neo/Matrix binary brain -
Thanks for the tests. I think this shows, again, that the 8800GTX and the 9800GT are identical performance wise. But, I can bet there are lots of people that are going to get that 0.1 FPS difference and say that the 8800GTX is much better!
Neil... would it be possible to have a temp comparison test?
Running ATItools or Furmark and check, for the same base configuration, what are the temperatures of both of the GPUs?
That would be quite helpful...
Cheers,

Has anyone recieved their laptop from Kobalt as of yet?
Starting to get slightly annoyed when there has passed so much time between the first people getting their deliveries from other vendors, when there is still nothing happening here.
So, any news? -
-
I'm getting it tomorrow
-
I was told there are people waiting for theirs to be laser etched (including myself). I'm curious as to who those people are and what interesting designs they are having.
