I havent checked his newer drivers, but if it includes a cracked SBX 720 version then it's a false positive, the crack will trigger any Anti Virus.
I doubt that J95 would spread viruses so I highly doubt it is a positive. -
When I get to installing the exe after extraction I get an error: Install Reatek HD Audio Driver Failure!! [Error Code: 0xE000024B] . It happens when the installation bar is almost finished. Ran as admin, and turned off the antivirus.

Just following the next steps on the team page. Where do I find RltkAPO64.dll to install the certificate? Or is not required if I ran
Realtek_HDA_6.0.1.8491_Clevo.exe? -
Or this 8454 WHQL full creative package that ASRock recently released for some ASRock Fatal1ty Z370 Gaming series boards, which seem to support more OEMs (including ASRock) than just Clevo and Gigabyte.
-
No need to install the certificate, the new installer does it all...
Just check "C:\Windows\System32\RltkAPO64.dll" -> right click -> Digital Signatures -> Details 'OK'.

I got the mod installed. If my P770DM came with SBX X-Fi MB5, should I use that or can I install SBC 720 (like in the image) and use it without having issues?
-
Yeah im curious about this too because i have the x-fi Mb5 as well
-
im curious what is this sound blaster connector, whats it like compared to others and where to get it
im just using default xifi 5 with the P670RS which also has a saber DAC so dunno about conflicts. -
for headphone its ok, speakers still sound like absolute trash.
-
Hmm any good ideas to improve? Im all "EARS" (lol sorry for the pun)
O yeah i use a sol republic air track but im here to improve my experience
so just "show me the way"
-
Its W.I.P so far. Im trying to fix some minor issues.
-
If you need a guinea pig
i can help
-
cant seem to get it to install anytime i reboot it gets replaced by 6.01.8172 which came in the creators update
Installing a newer 6.01.8279 for the newer revision of this model works though

Just disregard danishblunt comments. As always, nothing to contribute...non-existent mods, fake testing, lying, derailing threads, insulting reputable forum members etc...lousy forum trolling. For some unknown reason, NBR seems to ignore these facts.
Did you disable both secure boot (BIOS) and driver signature enforcement?

@andrewff2
You can read about the problem about the speakers here:
http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...stallation-m18xr2.821387/page-2#post-10770724
The thread tells the story, even replacing the sub and speakers, won't really improve that much because drivers are mostly broken. The modded realtek driver "from J95" are as useless as the stock ones. They do improve on headphones, sadly that's about it, speakers are still absolute garbage.
If you want better sound, then don't bother downloading J95s crap and go for this instead:
http://puresoftapps.blogspot.com/2018/04/realtek-apo-driver.html
It offers way more sound processing options and more customizability on what you want to test and use-Last edited by a moderator: Aug 7, 2018 -
Realtek HDA Clevo mods.
- Testing all released drivers with Clevo support, this is important due to Win10 constant changes, for better or worse lol.
- Pre-patched and signed DLL (Pihto’s patcher).
- Unlocked DHT, DDL & DTS.
- Support for Prema's experimental sBIOS MODs (8700K).
- Custom Installer.
I only use Equalizer APO's parametric EQ. 720 is for testing purposes, far better than Creative's MB5 but still gimmick...
Nothing will drastically improve internal speakers, only small changes between released drivers.
8454 best HDA driver so far.Last edited: Aug 9, 2018 -
Yeah, already tried 8504, but it has issues with SBC 720. Please test 8504 with MB5.

HDAUDIO \ FUNC_01 & VEN_10EC & DEV_0899 & SUBSYS_15586B02 -
Thank @j95 for your great work which made the Realtek HD audio alive again!
I have read all the posts here, but I still have the following two questions:
(1) Why version 8454 is the best legacy driver until now? Is it because the sound quality or compatibility issue?
(2) Does the modded UAD driver offer the function of DTS interactive(DTSi) or Dolby Digital Live(DDL)? I could not find the option after installing the UAD version of 8519.
p.s. My laptop is P650HS-G, and the Realtek HD audio hardware ID is:
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0899&SUBSYS_155865A2&REV_1000

hi j95.
I may have some bad (or disturbing) news.
It seems that Realtek has decided to include older versions of the mbapo232.dll & mbapo264.dll files in newer FF10 driver versions.
Beginning with 6.0.1.8491, Realtek included version 1.2.16.131 of the mbapo232.dll & mbapo264.dll files, which broke support for Creative SBX360/SBX720 software and failed to recognize the onboard Realtek audio device, even with the proper license files generated.
Versions 8480 & 8485 (and earlier like 8454) had version 2.0.0.3 of those mbapo232.dll & mbapo264.dll files, which made the Creative SBX360/SBX720 software work correctly and properly recognize the Realtek audio hardware. For the life of me, I don't know why Realtek did this. I will attempt to contact Realtek and see if they will put the proper versions in newer driver versions.
You can check the version of the mbapo232.dll & mbapo264.dll files by right-clicking on any of them in Windows Explorer, select Properties and click on Details tab. The Creative SBX360/SBX720 software needs at least version 1.2.65.x of these DLL files for it to work. -
Since your models are not listed (above), you guys must use the modded version instead.
Just follow the instructions in the readme.
Nope, we can't patch UAD/UWP. If you want unlocked DTS, DDL etc install Legacy 8454.
Yep, I know. Still, version 2.0.0.21 UAD has issues too.ipodman715 and yichi0101 like this. -

Thank you for your prompt and clear reply, @j95. I am just curious...can you let us know why the legacy 8454 is the best version?

Removed the audio driver using the Revo Uninstaller Pro. During installation, a window with an error [Error code: 0xE000024B] popped up. Running Windows in safe mode via msconfig, did not help, the same error, can help to solve the problem? thank youLast edited: Aug 30, 2018

I mean best audio quality, latest HDA drivers (legacy) sound terrible and will break Creative SBX/SBC due to outdated extensions.
DDU?? Display Driver Uninstaller.
- Firstly uninstall current Realtek HDA drivers under Programs & Features (Control Panel).
- You must disable driver signing before installing drivers. Hold down the Shift key while you click the “Restart” option -> Select “Troubleshoot” -> Advanced options -> Startup Settings -> select “Disable driver signature enforcement” option.
- Copy extracted "Realtek_UAD...Clevo_mod_.exe" to desktop then run as administrator (Temporarily disable AV software)
- Follow the instructions in the readme to the letter.ZamirKM likes this. -
Hello @j95. The installation of the driver was successful according to the instructions, there was one more problem, I can not install Realtek Audio Console shows the error window Code: 0x803FB005. Could you help in this situation? Thank you.

Hello! If I have Realtek Audio Console installed? Want to uninstall Realtek Audio Console before installing Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.8522_Clevo_mod and reinstall Realtek Audio Console? Thank you!j95 likes this.

Uninstall Realtek UAD drivers under "Programs & Features" (Control Panel) and Realtek Audio Console/UWP under "Apps & Features" (Settings).
Run Autoruns64.exe as admin. Filter: Creative. Only delete "UWP.service" entry as shown below (right click/delete).
Once again, disable driver signing before installing drivers (...Clevo_mod.exe)

wow, I did not know the updated Creative component DLL file also had problems in the newer Realtek UAD drivers.
here are the required Creative MBAPO2 DLL extension file versions for SBX360/720 in Realtek HDA legacy driver (for Win7/8.1 use up to 1.2.65.18 - for Win10 use 2.0.0.3)
Win7/8.1 users should just use 8308 or 8328 HDA driver while Win10 users should use 8454 HDA driverj95 likes this. -

It's even worse than you think.
8522 HDA MBAPO264.dll 1.2.16.131 (Creative signing time Wednesday, January 4, 2017 11:10:33 PM) and mbfilt64.sys 6.10.0.14...a real mess.
You need to find out which is the best driver version for your specific laptop model.Last edited: Aug 31, 2018 -

It probably works, its just that it's kinda weak to notice. Try this sub test and feel if your subwoofer vibrates during the test:j95 likes this.
