what tools/programs did you use to block all windows update & telemetry stuff, HitZ2976?
doing all that does have a nasty side effect of preventing install of any MS store apps

ask alanfox2000 in Techpowerup forums audio/video section on how to install realtek audio console from the RtkUWP preinstall kits (need to have Windows Update service enabled before installing it this way or it will fail).

other than that, re-install Win10 (do a "repair" install)

note to j95: Creative software component v2.0.0.22 is listed in MS Update Catalog.

and check the other forums like Station drivers - 8543 UAD All_OEM driver is available.

    ahh nuts!

I recently found out from alanfox2000 from this old Techpowerup forum thread that v2.0.0.16/2.0.0.17 & later of the mbapo232.dll & mbapo264.dll files will not make the SBConnect 2 UWP app run on older Clevo laptops [and will get the "device cannot be detected" message]. damn (I wish I had paid more attention to this sooner). newer mbapo232.dll & mbapo264.dll files will only make the SBX360/SBX720 UWP app run on recent Clevo laptops with new Realtek audio chipsets.

for those who are using older Clevo laptops with older Intel CPUs (5th/6th gen Intel CPU & older) + Realtek audio chipsets, maybe make updated Realtek UAD mods with Creative SoftwareComponent (mbapo2) 2.0.0.14.

I've posted v2.0.0.14 of the Creative UWP component driver since it used to be available from MS Update Catalog but is no longer listed.

    creative-component-mbapo2-v20014.png

these are the best versions to use for older Clevo laptops since these older mbapo2 DLL files will make SBConnect 2 uwp app work with many realtek audio devices.

Well i use the standart W10 privacy, O&O ShutUp10, spybot anti-beacon and winaero tweaker. I dont have anything to hide, but I dislike the fact that some bloatware on my PC will eat up unnecessary resources even if said PC is a beast and have minor performance hit. That said i refuse to reinstall just to use those drivers. If the creator of this mod have a way to do it without using windows store, i will gladly try them out. If not, oh well I will stick to the default one.

In matter of fact, i dont see any negative effect of disabling telemetry and m$ bloatware other than not receiving "performance" & "security" updates which are **** anyways.

Hey @j95 so i should uninstall my Realtek_HDA_6.0.1.8454_Clevo and Sound_Blaster_Connect_2_720°_ 3.2.28.0 then grab my HW ID, because mine is not there grab the modded one disable driver signature

and in the end install those drivers in this order?

    1- Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.8543_Clevo_mod
    2 - RTK_Audio_Console_UWP_1.2.142.0
3 - Creative Speaker EQ For Clevo 1.01.63 WHQL installer (did not found)
    4 - Creative_UAD_Extensions_Mod_Clevo_EOL_Models
    5 - SoundBlasterConnect_UWP

    Is that right?

    # Uninstall Realtek HDA legacy or UAD drivers under "Programs & Features" (Legacy Control Panel) then both Creative connection service and SBC then reboot.

    # Disable driver signature enforcement. Hold down the Shift key while you click the “Restart” option -> Select “Troubleshoot” -> Advanced options -> Startup Settings -> select “Disable driver signature enforcement” option.

    # Temporarily disable AV software.

    # Copy to desktop then Right-click/Run as administrator "Realtek_UAD...mod.exe".

    # When prompted (2x) select "Install driver software anyway"

    # Realtek installer, select "No, I will restart my computer later" to continue with creative extensions installation.

    # Again, choose "Install driver software anyway" (2x).

    # Close command line window after it's done.

    # Reboot.

Thanks for putting this together @j95 :)
I might be missing something, but I just can't seem to get it working.
The closest I've gotten is using the EOL 8543 install, which seems to work - except none of the changes made in SBC actually do anything.
In addition to following the instructions, I also had to disable Secure Boot to get it to show SBC, otherwise the program stayed blank when loaded.

When using the most recent version, RAC won't work (unsupported hardware), and SBC won't work even with @epguy3 's 2.0.0.14 drivers

My HWID is HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0892&SUBSYS_15586540 so I've been using the modded variants, in case that matters.

    Thanks :)

Uploaded wrong file. Install 8569 HDA instead....until Creative updates third party software.
Uninstall RTK drivers, SBC and Realtek console. Disable DSE & AV then copy to desktop and run as admin.

Yes it works. You're doing it wrong...

Uninstall Realtek UAD drivers, SBC (UWP) and Realtek Audio Console (UWP), including Autoruns step "“UWP.service” (Creative) and "Realtek" audio entries (careful not to delete Realtek card reader entry) then reboot.

Disable driver signature enforcement. Hold down the Shift key while you click the “Restart” option -> Select “Troubleshoot” -> Advanced options -> Startup Settings -> select “Disable driver signature enforcement” option.

    Temporarily disable AV software.

Copy to desktop then Right-click/Run as administrator “Realtek_HDA_8569…mod.exe”.

When prompted (2x) select “Install driver software anyway”

Realtek installer, select “No, I will restart my computer later” to continue with SBC & connect service installation.

    Finally, reboot.

I had the modded driver installed for a couple of months now and recently noticed it (Realtek ...) disappeared from device manager. I'm curious what could've caused it - did anyone else get the same issue?

Those were the exact steps I followed, sorry I didn't mean to sound as if it was a fault with your drivers, I just meant it's not working for me. It happens. I've probably messed around with the driver store in the past, or there's some parts that won't be overwritten due to system permissions, I don't know.
As I said, I'll keep tinkering to find out the reason it's not working on my computer, then share the problem in case others have a similar issue.

Did you upgrade windows recently? Windows won't reinstall modded drivers during the upgrade process.

It's fine, I meant a simple mistake. Secure boot enabled or anti-virus *HIPS* messing things up during installation.

I have check the inf files inside Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.8569_Creative_SBC_UWP_Clevo_Mod.exe. The inf files have not been modified.
If you want SBC UWP using on your non-official support SBC UWP Clevo laptop, you need a realtek mod driver with inf modified or APO Driver

If you install Realtek mod driver with inf modified, you need to disable driver signature enforcement

Realtek UAD for Clevo 6.0.1.8578 WHQL (Official Driver)
    https://github.com/alanfox2000/real...es/download/6.0.1.8578/8578_UAD_WHQL_Clevo.7z

    Creative - Thirty Party Extension
    https://minhaskamal.github.io/DownG...-audio-driver/tree/master/ThirdParty/Creative

    Step
    1. Install Realtek UAD for Clevo 6.0.1.8578 WHQL through setup.exe
    2. Install Creative - Thirty Party Extension
    - Find Realtek Audio on Device Manager
    - Click Update Driver, enter path of the folder where CreativeExtension.inf stored in this dialog > Click Next
If you don't get install success message, this mean your clevo laptop not official support SBC UWP

If you install successfully, keep following the step 3

    3. Under software component, you can find "Sound Blaster Connect" and "Creative Audio Effects Component" if you laptop support SBC UWP

    4. Double click two of them and update driver, enter the path of the folder where CreativeComponent.inf and CreativeSBConnect.inf.

    5. SBC UWP will download and install automatically from M$ store if inf install successfully.

@alanfox2000 Yes, both Realtek (UAD) and Creative INFs have been modified. Creative vendor Id "1102" is supported by most Clevo laptops, therefore I only need to modify CreativeExtension.inf to add SBC/UWP support...with windows 10, RTK UAD is superior to legacy HDA drivers and many Clevo EOL models lack official UAD support.

Anyway, SBC/UWP is connected but not rendering (2.0.0.14). It seems that latest Creative APOs (UAD) HWIDs are hard-coded.

    Thanks for 8578.

I did another critical update today and the same thing happened - Windows seems to reinstall the original unmodded driver over the modded one during the update process. Event Viewer for the device shows this. I just uninstalled it and reinstalled the modded one and it works fine though.

Edited post, it was working fine...I'm dropping SBC/UWP support for the time being.
If you want SBC then install legacy HDA drivers below.
As I said before, all required INFs were modified accordingly.

I truly appreciate your work but you're wrong here.

Why did you include Creative.UWPRPCService v1.0.0.10 (2.0.0.14) when you know it's broken? High cpu usage etc.

    With Creative extensions v2.0.0.14 you can't go past v2.2.1.0 (2.1.4.0) SBC/UWP.

Yes, all INFs were correctly modified.

Thanks for Vikram's sideloading script though.

    Your mod below.

To switch back to legacy HDA drivers, you must first fully uninstall Realtek and Creative UAD, SBC/UWP and Realtek Audio console.

Uninstall Realtek UAD drivers, SBC (UWP) and Realtek Audio Console (UWP), including Autoruns step "“UWP.service” (Creative) and "Realtek" audio entries (careful not to delete Realtek card reader entry) then reboot.

Disable driver signature enforcement. Hold down the Shift key while you click the “Restart” option -> Select “Troubleshoot” -> Advanced options -> Startup Settings -> select “Disable driver signature enforcement” option.

    Temporarily disable AV software.

Copy to desktop then Right-click/Run as administrator “Realtek_HDA_8569…mod.exe”.

When prompted (2x) select “Install driver software anyway”

Realtek installer, select “No, I will restart my computer later” to continue with SBC & connect service installation.

    Finally, reboot.

    EDIT: P151EM
    HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0892&SUBSYS_15585106?
@andrewff2 don't install yet, I'll update all HWIDs.

    @alanfox2000 Creative.UWPRPCService v2.0.2.4 solves SBC 2.2.3.0 compatibility issues.

    Yep, it breaks installation otherwise.

@andrewff2 open realtek audio console and disable power management.

Is it possible to use this on a P775TM1? Would like to get the extra benefit of the Scout 2.0.
    Thanks!

I don't what is your SUBSYS ID from Hardware ID.
j95 Mod need to match the SUBSYS ID to install his mod.
alanfox2000 Mod don't need SUBSYS ID, the only need is your Realtek audio chips DEV ID and my Mod support all DEV ID by Realtek.
You don't need to know or check your Clevo Laptop audio chips HWID to install alanfox2000 Mod.

All UAD mod from j95 just add hardware ID to INF and he forget to modify the most important - apo section of INF.

So I'm 100% sure the audio taste different when you change the audio settings on Sound Blaster Connect Control Panel on alanfox2000 Generic Mod between j95 Mod.

@j95 hey man. Great mod. One thing - it seems that audiodg.exe is taking like around 7-10% of processor power constantly. Is there any fix for it? Kinda sucks to cripple ur performance due to better sound software.
