No stutter with either 176.06 drivers or the newer 179.92.
I pretty much get the same performance for both, so I just kept the 179.92 for the PhysX.

78C is MORE THAN OK. You guys worry about nothing.
85C and above and that`s cause for concern.
Is it only for Clevo's or is it more related to 88M GTX SLI/98M GTs SLI?
High should be playable on ANY SLI 88M GTX and above at 1920x1200, be it D901C, XPS 1730 or AWm17x. -
Dox inf was aimed towards Clevo's.
-
Then what's the problem?
-
Then how come mine does? We have essentially the same machine.
-
Try a newer driver either 177.79 or 177.92.
-
where can i get 177.79? i don't really want to try 177.92 yet after what happened to mastamarek. or do i have to install an inf either way?
-
You have to install the modded info. for both drivers.
-
Make sure you download the modified INF. Once you extract the driver files into a folder, just copy the modified INF into that folder (it will overwrite the existing INF). See attachment for picture of how to get modified INF.

Heres the driver link http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers

Installed the drivers (177.92) with the modded INF.. Now I don't have the NVidia App to turn on SLI, 3dmark scores are those of only 1 video card.. Any ideas?
Thanks, -
Open up the 177.92 folder, I think theres a Nvidia control panel in there for you to create a desktop shortcut.
-
That did the trick. Many thanks!
-
just downloaded Dox's 177.92 inf
could someone plz mirro da vistax86 driver since laptopvideo2go's server is either slow or down -
LOL... If it's that hard to find perhaps I'd be better off never finding it.
Actually, my problem with general stuttering issues is that too many times they're attributed, with a sense of inevitability, to "micro-stuttering" when, in my opinion, they usually shouldn't be.
I believe the term was originally coined (in English) in this pcgameshardware article in Feb. ( http://www.pcgameshardware.de/?article_id=631668) where the author pointed out inter-frame time differences in SLI, while suggesting that no such differences occur in non-SLI. He concluded that, because of this, non-SLI, while potentially slower, MIGHT appear more smooth than SLI. Since he claimed that Crysis was one of the biggest offenders, I decided to test it.
I discovered two things:
1) There is an inter-frame time difference in SLI in Crysis of about 6ms.
2) Surprisingly (to me), there is also about a 6ms inter-frame time difference in non-SLI!
Here are two typical runs made from the same save point:
SLI....
Frame, Time (ms) Delta (ms)
1, 0.000
2, 10.762, 10
3, 26.727, 16
4, 39.235, 13
5, 55.926, 16
6, 67.364, 12
7, 84.938 , 17
8, 95.611, 11
9, 113.294, 18
10, 125.911, 12
non-SLI (resolution adjusted to yield equal times)...
Frame, Time (ms) Delta (ms)
1, 0.000
2, 10.195, 10
3, 26.070, 16
4, 38.203, 12
5, 54.547, 16
6, 65.782, 11
7, 82.979, 17
8, 94.201, 12
9, 110.909, 16
10, 122.396, 12
I don't know if these small differences can be seen or not. Some people say yes, some people say no. At any rate, I can't believe they account for many occurrences of "stuttering". -
please can you make crysis cpu2 benchmark? -
ok i am using the 177.92 driver w/ dox's inf but i am not getting the frame rates that i expected. at 1920x1200 on high settings i am only getting about 16fps. what's going on!? again i have the exact same machine as rossdaddy.
