I got your exact build for $2516 from Alienware. I am not even counting the 5% you get back from dell for loyalty as a gift card. Don't even get me started on the discounts you can achieve if you posses the silver tongue. If you decide the laptop is not all that great and want to return it back to dell then they will offer you 5%-10% to keep your laptop. Now if you want to speak about build quality and warranty support than hands down DELL/ALIENWARE rocks.
I used the dell mystery coupon that will give you savings of 5%, 10% or 15%. If you want you are welcome to message me and I will give you the 5% coupon. Most folks who sign up for email received it and there is a chance someone might have a 15% coupon to give away.

Edit: I was able to find an additional 10% coupon for using the Dell Preferred Account which comes with 12 months of no interest along with 10% off on top. This makes the laptop before any negotiations with a Dell rep come to $2,384.10 and you will receive 5% additional back as a Dell Gift Card for Dell Loyalty. If you live in a tax free state than you will save additional $$$ by not having to worry about sales tax. You are welcome to use a mail forward service located in tax free states if you are not available to receive the laptop when it ships. They will be glad to forward the package to you for a small shipping charge. Now keep in mind if you use a mail forwarding service and save the tax $$$ that you will want to pay that on your tax return when you file or the irs won't be too happy....just ask Al Capone he will tell you the truth about them.

EDIT: I forgot to mention an important factor that could have a huge impact on which system to choose -- physical appearance. Clevos have a reputation for being "boring office machines", which could be a plus or minus depending on your needs. There's no way I'd be able to whip out an AW at a company meeting without raising a few eyebrows (admittedly the new AW17 isn't that flashy, but let's just say the people I work with are very old school...), so the bland design of the Clevo was perfect for me. Thus far nobody has suspected my P370SM is a powerful gaming machine, although I've gotten a few comments on how big the screen is and "watching HD videos on that thing must be a joy" (lol)
Perhaps because of the reputation, Clevo decided to add some bling to their laptops this year. Personally though I found the bling versions to be gaudy, and they looked like they were just trying too hard. So, if you care about flashy styling done right, perhaps the AW would be a better choice.
ANYWAY...
The NP8295 with nearly identical specs will run about $2150, so if the OP can negotiate the price of the AW17 down to $2300, then yes the AW17 would be a better choice. To be completely fair though, I should point out that the NP8275-S with slightly better specs costs only about $2000
