NICE post a video If you can and to upload your photos you might find it easier to make a flicker album and upload them there instead of individually uploading imageshack

Many years ago I used the name Bob Lawblaw (I actually met a Bob Lawblaw who did not think his name was funny ) for online/gaming use. Since then I've noticed the name becoming popular and subsequently becoming harder to snag the handle on various sites/forums/games etc, so in an effort to standardize, I modified it.

Sorry to hijack, back to our anxiously awaiting 2090 news.

 

yeah, that's kinda what happened with my name. Back when the internet was still in it's infancy, I could go anywhere and get GlueEater. Now sometimes I'll have to use GluexXxEater. I can't even get that on aim. lol actually, I think I might have been GluexXxEater, I just can't remember my password.

GlueEater is a Ralph Wiggum reference btw.

Not to ruin the suspense for losthighwayblues' delivery, but I received an email from Justin at Xoticpc. According to him, my notebook that I ordered on Tuesday the 18th (edit: sorry, it was the 19th) will be in the second shipment that they should get in 1-2 weeks. So anyone who ordered close to that date or after will have to wait . I was really, really hoping that I would get into the first shipment, but I guess I'll just have to wait...

 

I emailed and they told me my system was going through testing. I really hope that means I have a unit.

 

Do you mean Tuesday the 19th? Because according to my calendar, Monday is the 18th. Sorry if I seem nitpicky, I'm just anxious because I ordered mine on Tuesday and am wondering if I'm in the same boat as you.

I know it's really hard to convince parents.

However, you'll see that it is what makes your laptop so so special to you when you finally get to own one.

I really hope your dad changes his mind and gets you a lappy that you want.

This is what I did to get mine just basically take them on a guilt trip saying how much it restricts your ability to perform efficiently and that even during classes if u have a laptop now shuts down in class and you had to hand your term paper late because of this just go on and on on maybe a tear will even do the trick. (or even better let your mom talk to him she has powers from an unknown origin that will captivate him trust me it works)

Well guys, I found http://www.gen-x-pc.com/note_IFL90.htm Its an IFL90, not a sager, just wanted to post here anyways.

They have many dedicated customers who seem very happy with gen-x-pc. I would check them out.

Amazing pictures and high res , why does the top of the laptop screen, the backside, the cover, have white dots all over the paint job :S

DiscountLaptops.com plans to sell the Sager NP2090. They told me that they will update their site in a few days.


They have a good ResellersRating(look in the Clevo guide) and have a rep called named Matt who goes by DiscountLaptops on this forum(though he hasnt posted in a few months)

 

looks like that European version of the IFL90 is using the matte screen.

 

So will the first couple of shipments of the US Compal IFL90/Sager Np2090 with WSXGA+ screens(hopefully its more than that )

I just wanted to post here to thank everyone on this forum for all their input. I don't normally do forums but this one was responsible for my decision to buy what and where I did (Sager NP 2090 from XoticPC). Now I'm just waiting like the rest of you. This hurts...
