That is a different model, check your current battery for a part number.

Yep, I know that this is different model. But will it fit? Package looks compatible in shape. I know the risk. It is for some "upgrade" project :)

There is a powerbank that has 19V output and max 120W of power . Will this laptop be able to work on that powerbank if there will be just simple website browsing, movies watching and text editing?.
Original charger for PB51RF-G has 19.5V and 230W

It will run so long as the machine is forced to not ramp up power draw. Just note if an application starts and the battery is not designed safely it could also set fire to itself.

    Hi Mark!
I have set timings at new RAM similar as Yours, unfortunately Windows is not stable. I had few BSOD's. Laptop starts normally, but when I start something more power intensive software i have a crash.
    1. Which parameters should I lower/change to get more stable system?
    2. I get 2926 buy setting 2*11*133 is that right?
    3. Is it possible/safe to rise voltage above 1.35 for ex: at "Intel Extreme Tuning Utility" software? and is there a point to do that?
    4. I have QCLK Odd disabled. Is that OK?

    Greetings

@aznxwill Hey, sorry to bump an old post but I am desperate to get some information on the PB71RF-G. How is the display? Everything I've read online has indicated it is a TN display. Also, where did you buy it from? I messaged the HID/EVOC people and they told me it was a TN display as well

@DkmCd Where did you buy it from and how are the thermals on it? Good colors on the screen too? Speakers? Any complaints overall? I'm debating between this and the MSI GE75 but the PB71 having Gsync is a nice plus

sorry I wrote a post about PB51RF-G. 15 inches display might be different quality.

no problem, this is the PB51 thread after all. So are you happy with all the things I asked about but with the PB51? What other computers were you looking at? Do you consider Gsync a must?

Timings are going to vary by motherboard and ram sticks, if you want to push you are going to have to find your own settings.

I can compare DELL XPS 15 2018 IPS 15' ;500 nits; 60Hz and PB51RF-G IPS 15' 144Hz. I had them physically side by side and compare displays at max. I can compare them from the point of view of application user not gamer.
    1. Dell is brighter, but not much, and have more juicy colors.
    2. I've tested both displays outside with full sun. Both were sufficient for me to work outside.
    3. I have less eye fatigue with Clevo after long period of work.
    4. Smooth window scrolling and windows moving under Windows 10 with 144Hz is really nice.
    5. I've tested few Games (Far Cry 5) and I was really happy with 144Hz and frame rates at ultrahigh details, but I am not big gamer. I have liquid metal at CPU and I think it is necessary for this laptop. It has full RTX 2070!!!
    6. I cannot say anything about Gsync.
    7. Speakers are OK I think DELL got better. I use earphones most of the time.

If you are looking for computing power this laptop is the way to go.
    Some detailed review:

Do you have feeling which timings should I start first?
I have some BSOD screenshot code. Will it be helpful somehow?

General ram tweaking guides will apply, primary timings first and secondary after based off the SPD tables as your base point.

Anyone encountered an issue with the Intel UHD 630 being used up to 100% and causing the Laptop to stutter like crazy?

I have tried both 1080p and 4k resolution and they both stutter like crazy. I have also tried switching power modes.

I take it there are no issues in dedicated mode?

Well with dedicated mode the screen will turn off as it requires an external display as it used the dGPU directly. If I recall correctly reading, Optimus forced the laptops screen to use iGPU and the dGPU has to pass thru the CPU right?

In the non OLED models switching modes switches a MUX to swap the internal display routing.

I am getting some eye fatigue from IPS screens. Also from this model PB51RF-G. Is there a software or settings for this laptop to change default contrast, gamma correction etc. ? I am using f.lux and it helps a little bit. I don't have this issue when using external TN monitor with this laptop.
I know that there is version with OLED. Does change for OLED screen at this laptop model would help?

Is it possible to display BIOS/UEFI options at external HDMI monitor without unpluging native LCD from laptop's motherboard?

I want to set permament power at left USB port after shutdown(according to manual it is possible). Unfortunately I cannot find where to turn it on. There is no such a option in UEFI. Any advices?

Check page 1-15 of your manual, it breaks it down all the features of the power port. Our site offers a download if you don't have it to hand.
