This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I am still debating weather to get the NP8862 or the M1730. The price on the Dell is pretty amazing. I like how upgradeable the Sager is though.

    The M860 is upgradable, but only the CPU. It only has MXM 2.1 module and the future gfx-cards are gonna be MXM 3, so the GTX 2xxM are the last gfx-card that will fit.

    So I ordered the M1730 and Dell canceled the order a week later. I swore I would never buy a Dell product, and this just verifies what I already know about them: they are some shady bastages.

    I'm going with the NP8662.
