You can use whatever as long it fits into your notebook and has at least 180Watts

Yeah but I modded mine pretty heavily. There is almost no trace of stock anymore.

Specs are atm:
Core i7 4710 MQ @ OC 3.7ghz
32GB DDR 3 RAM
GTX 880M Core: 1ghz, Mem: 5ghz
Prema vBios
2 Msata SSD's
1 SSHD, 1 SSD
Bigger speakers and subwoofer.
Basicially my notebook has long past the 180Watt mark. So i needed a bigger power supply in my case. I just bought the cheapest 230W PSU i could find (danish ebay site called dba), in my case it was a HP one and am using a male to female adapter. Since there is no PSU that has more than 180W with a female output.
But before you go and try to buy another power supply you should try and see if my theory is right or not. -

Also, i ran stock outdated BIOS with a m290X on windows 10 without any issues a couple of months back, also I've never heard of any notebook causing issues because of an old BIOS in combination of windows 10. -

Minor issues? like what? I literally cannot figure out a single reason why the "out of dateness" would have any effect on the OS at all.Last edited by a moderator: Mar 27, 2017 -

Some were minor, like certain hotkeys not responding (KBC/EC firmware). Some were a lot more prohibitive, like the touchpad gestures not working, or the touchpad not working altogether. Certain drivers wouldn't work properly or install without the BIOS update, either, though I forget which ones, exactly.
Enough people were taking advantage of the free upgrade at the time that Clevo acquiesced. -

The tip needs to be 5.5mmx2.5mm barrel type (no pin).

Did you try other wireless lan / Lan drivers? Apparently you only have those input lags on online games.
