You can use whatever as long it fits into your notebook and has at least 180Watts

    Yes I'm on Windows 10.
    Specs are atm:
    Core i7 4710 MQ @ OC 3.7ghz
    32GB DDR 3 RAM
    GTX 880M Core: 1ghz, Mem: 5ghz
    Prema vBios
    2 Msata SSD's
    1 SSHD, 1 SSD
    Bigger speakers and subwoofer.

Basicially my notebook has long past the 180Watt mark. So i needed a bigger power supply in my case. I just bought the cheapest 230W PSU i could find (danish ebay site called dba), in my case it was a HP one and am using a male to female adapter. Since there is no PSU that has more than 180W with a female output.

But before you go and try to buy another power supply you should try and see if my theory is right or not.

I have the same BIOS as you do, otherwise the card would be annoying with throttling since it demands way more power. Only prema allows the card to draw more than the limit.

Also, i ran stock outdated BIOS with a m290X on windows 10 without any issues a couple of months back, also I've never heard of any notebook causing issues because of an old BIOS in combination of windows 10.

We have a 1.05.01 BIOS & EC update here for the SM generation.

There have been quite a few instances, though. Typically it's the KBC/EC firmware more than the BIOS, but the issues have all been fairly minor.

Mind giving a changelog to what you guys changed? Because oficially it ends at 1.03ish. So if you indeed got anything higher then you must have modded it yourself.

Minor issues? like what? I literally cannot figure out a single reason why the "out of dateness" would have any effect on the OS at all.

If R & D had one for me, I'd be happy to post it. We do very little modding; this was an official release that Clevo provided (all that makes it ours on the SM & SM-A systems is the splash logo).

Some were minor, like certain hotkeys not responding (KBC/EC firmware). Some were a lot more prohibitive, like the touchpad gestures not working, or the touchpad not working altogether. Certain drivers wouldn't work properly or install without the BIOS update, either, though I forget which ones, exactly.

Enough people were taking advantage of the free upgrade at the time that Clevo acquiesced.

Yep. It doesn't matter where u buy the power supply from of what brand it has, but I will repeat myself. The issue can also be caused by something else, unless you try and confirm for yourself that it is 100% the power supply there is no guarrantee that this will fix ur issue. Hence I asked you if you can try another power supply before you think about buying another.

Did you try other wireless lan / Lan drivers? Apparently you only have those input lags on online games.
