I assure you that it not contains any kind of malware/spyware/virus or anything that will warm your computer.

This program was made with Eclipe via C++ language and then compiled. No malware is in it.

    ;)

    nirvana0001 and Samot

I´ve changed the run script... please try this one: http://audigyapps.com.sapo.pt/T7500_2.5Ghz.rar

    Just overwrite in C:\SetFSB\

EDIT: I think I found the problem... That false positives in yours AVs, was because the compiler was encrypting the code... now it´s not. I will work now :D

    ;)

Perhaps it has something to do with unsigned drivers in Vista? I have mine always set to have driver signing checking turned off at bootup so maybe that's why it worked (and is still working, 43 degrees each core with vm player running for hours!) . *shrugs*

this type of software mod usually will trigger a false positive from your av. almost all av's have a "trusted zone" that you can add the .exe file from this to and then you will not see the message.. these are common triggers for av's just like when i mod a bios most av's will throw a flag as well.. its just a false positive... it will depend on YOUR AV whether or not this gets picked up as a fp or not. not all av's will say its a "virus"

    That may be...

But I think I´ve found the problem... that error was because the compiler was encrypting the code... now it´s not. Lots of malware is self-encryted, so thats why the false positives on their AVs.

I´m glad it´s working right on your M570RU, on mine´s too... thats why I think that error was weird...

But you know, this is the 1st release so is normal that some bugs appear.

I am greatly appreciate of your effort, unfortunately it still running at 2.4ghz; however, there was a prompt showed up at the right bottom corner and said that my computer has been OC at 2.6ghz (but nothing really changed)

Something have came up on my head... are you using and altered DPI on your GUI? It´s at 96DPIs?

If not, thats why... my code only works on a GUI at default DPI setting...

I can try adapting it, but I don´t know if will work... ;)

    Remember , 2.4 from 2.0 is a 20% OC ... so it`s a pretty risky job for a notebook.

I´ve tried it on mine T7700... and it´s working... so this all thing is weird.

Maybe it´s something on the code, a bug or something that is causing that.

Now I need some time to investigate :D

Yes... Because only extreme ver. CPUs have unlocked ratios, the only way to overclock a locked one is via FSB.

Now I´m to tyred... tomorow I will rewrite de code to maybe solve the problem...

    Nops :D

The top one is for the FSB and therefore the CPU.

The one below it, is for PCI and PCI-E frequencies... because the southbriedge SATA controler don´t like the PCI-E bus high, is better to keep it stock.

Yes it´s working, but not on everyone... you can try to see if it works on your case.

Hummm I know why... thats because de non-default DPI setting on the GUI...

I will make some tests with rised DPIs to see if works right.

Yes, this program works on any NB, you just need to have one of the listed CPUs...

Probably your Clock Generator is diferent from the M570RU one, so try search on the SetFSB list one that works on your machine.

    ;)

if you are oc'ing a 667fsb chip and you have 667 ram you will not be able to go very far. to do this right you should have 800mhz ram installed instead.. you ram is holding you back. most notebook ram does not oc well if at all

I have a question. My processors FSB is 800 mhz. I have 800 mhz ram installed, but my system cant currently utilize this. Does that mean if I would OC the processor by upping the FSB, would my 800 mhz ram (right now locked at 667mhz) also get faster?

Thanks to everyones feedback so far...

I´ve rewrited the all program with a new code, for better support on altered DPIs on the GUI.

It´s a faster, better, and 100% stable code now...

    For T7500 - 2.5Ghz --> http://audigyapps.com.sapo.pt/T7500_2.5.rar

Making the versions for T7700 now.

EDIT: Please wait for the new How to... Thanks

    Max temps 63 and 65, atm temps: 54 and 58 :D

But in SetFSB I'm only using the first slider, do I need to use the other one 2?

Could someone please confirm the correct Clock Generator for a T7500 in a M57RU? I thought it ended in 316AGLF, but I noticed that the Clock Generator referenced in Audigy's how-to post is different?
