Yeah, use stock drivers CCC and only install the video driver from beta 11. Don't unninstall anything in between both drivers.

i was using 12.10 and everything was working fine. no BSODs at all. After I installed the 12.11c I started getting BSODs after logging into windows. excellent update!
-
I gave up dealing with random BSOD's and I'm back to stock driver. I'm still happy with performance. I see 45fps instead of 55. Not a big loss.
Not to mention this driver was optimised to give BF3 more than %25 performance, and yet BF3 fails to start %75 of time. -
Well, I have a clean install of beta11 paired with latest CAP2 for about 3-4 days now. Only had 1 BSOD after the initial installation but haven't experienced any more since that. System seems to be much more stable, although neither MSI afterburner, nor gpu - z do not show the temps of 7970 or even the proper clocks. Haven't tried many high end games but as I've mentioned before, no BSODS so far and no black screen issues whatsoever. Not sure if it means much but games like Mafia II run on maxed gfx without any issues. Just pulled of a P6520 on 3DMARK 11 basic edition.
Made a clean install by using the ATIman software which seems to be much better than driver sweeper which ended up BSODing my laptop everytime I would get to windows log in screen, so I had to do a system restore. ATIman doesn't even require you to run it in safe mode which makes it very easy. Download latest version, run according to instructions, couple of reboots and its done (make sure to uninstall the AMD and Intel stuff first through add/remove programs). Afterwards install INTEL drivers FIRST, reboot and install beta11, reboot, than CAP2 (also .11). As it seems to be running quite smooth for me I won't try to fix the temps issue on MSI afterburner and gpu - z, rather wait until WQHL drivers to show up.
By the way, just for the record my systems is the usual CLEVO - i7 - 3610qm, 16gb DDR3 - 1600, HD7970M, 500GB HDD. -
As for the temps and clocks you can use HWinfo for monitoring them, just add the desired readings to show on the configuration of hwinfo. Ah and start a game to start up your 7970M before opening hwinfo. For fps i use fraps.
I can even OC with MSI AB, version 2.2.4. But sometimes i have to restart my PC in order to get it working, or it BSODs when going back to stock clocks. -

So is there an official non beta driver yet?
Just tried the 13.2 driver installed over the stock drivers.
It Bsods on startup if I leave it plugged in but I'm getting 98-99 usage on 64 player servers in bf3. Amazing! -
thanks -

Sorry for the confusion. I haven't tried any drivers since Nov. And have been on the stock clevo drivers.
Never tried 13.1. -
The current 13.2 is not one of them. It's a LEAK and has been asked by AMD, DO NOT INSTALL THEM. No QA has been done on them for use by consumers. They were released to Tech Report ONLY and for ONLY ONE PURPOSE. To test frame latency on a few games. Benchmarks in games show that the 13.2 are inferior than the 13.1 in about every game except 3 games that were featured in Tech Report. They don't even have features that are supposed to be in the 13.2 beta released later.
So... 7970M Driver Update
