When you launch HWinfo, it asks you if you want to enable reading the EC sensor. There is a corresponding option in the settings as well.
I don't know where it is exactly. But shouldn't be difficult to find .

As long @Terrablade run Stock clockspeed on graphics, shouldn't all games crash with stock fan profile. Re-paste and rearranging the pads is what he should done first. Of course will maxed fans help, but this doesn't fix his underlying problem

Make sure Clevo Ec is activated for monitoring in the application window. Use Fn+1 and you can see the fans are running fully speed.

Do a re-paste  And perhaps the thermal pads are not placed correctly.

May need to repaste and apply more paste. Be generous as with notebooks it's almost always required.

So i was going though the graph that you get with Ctrl+F and i got this :

    Is it normal ?
also even with added voltage i cant seem to go beyond 2037 boost. 3D Mark always crashes. I haven't seen any weird artifacts yet, so im sure it can go further.

I haven't flashed the XOC bios yet, are you guys also using the same one?

If you have shorted the resistor partially, you can forget the other voltage points and only play with 1.093v. Using 7MHz increments up or down.

I believe K|NGP|N said that for every -50c, you get additional +100MHz on the core or so. CMIIW, but the point is that voltage really only helps after you manage very cold temperatures on the GPU. Below 40c maybe.

At this point though, it's more beneficial to overclock memory and see how far you can go. Try start with +0 (control) and +300MHz (baseline OC). Increase +25MHz for every few Firestrike (Ultra preffered) runs and average the GPU scores.

When you overclock too high the score will scale backwards in proportion to your OC. That's when you dial back slowly by a smaller increment.

Most G5X can do +500, but I heard that the ASUS has a different memory timings, can't really be sure, but I'll leave that up to you to discover the benefit or downsides.

Neah, i have not done any shorting shenanigans yet. Doubt i will, until my desktop is setup.
I haven't tried anything over +300 on the memory yet but that was with the core at +100.

That mod will help some, but to be optimal, you need to be below a certain temp.

A slight sear on the outside is always nice to keep it juicy on the inside of the steak. It only goes bad if it gets over cooked...beef jerky, but anything before that is optimal and makes for a perfect steak.

Yeah, AC benching is wonderful. And, my office is nice and cool, just the way I like it as an added bonus. :D You should get one for both of those reasons. No more hot summer nights dragging you down, or your beast.

If @Prema releases a P7XXZM BIOS update to the public, then you'll have that BCLK and Spread Spectrum functionality. That's what fixed El Cazador for me.
