Not quite mate, only 4.11 GHz, but it was still better than anything haswell/broadwell could muster.

How the heck does he get such a high score man! I set mine to high performance texture filtering in NVCPL and same for power management
Ill update the OP -

Even on mobile Pascal ?
Also, the clevo bios / ec fan controller is okay in GPU, it o my spins randomly in CPU with CCC installed ;_; -
Anyone got a spare CPU for the DM2/3 that makes solid contact they can loan me or sell?
I want to join in on the fun but having this goofy heatsink is robbing me such pleasures. -

To be honest, I'm not really seeing the benefit as much. I see more with going with more ram or faster ram over timings. Timings look good in the screen shots, but usually there are other things that help far more. -
I couldn't get a wPrime 32m without it freezing (lowest time I have is 4.35s so far, haha)... but was able to get a CPUID validation @ 4886.82MHz. Also one at 4890.44MHz, but don't have a settings screenshot
49x4 CPU, 43xCache, +50mV adaptive... Stock BIOS, stock air cooling with laptop pad
I'm still getting a lot of throttling when CPU/GPU are both under load. I hooked up a wattage meter between PSU and the wall... For the most part it stays within the 330W limit, I've seen it only once bump 331W. Mostly the high is around 280W or so and generally under 300W.

I had tried doing static voltage as you had recommended based on the (stable) voltages it reached during adaptive mode with offsets... But even setting it static the voltages ended up being much higher than I had actually set them -
Is coil whine normal on GTX 1080 based Clevo laptops? Especially under load..

Ionising_Radiation ?v = ve*ln(m0/m1)
Can someone give me the basics of ThrottleStop?
I'd like to have three profiles, one for AC power, where, if the CU requests it, I want unfettered power, but quickly downclocks under idle loads to keep fan noise down.
The second profile will be for battery power, where the CPU clocks will be limited, as well as TDP/voltage/whatever.
The last profile will be for ultra low power use, where the CPU is severely limited, to get maximum battery life.
How do I go about doing this for my 4710MQ, which is currently at stock?Georgel likes this. -

FYI, people considering the Intel 600P, Newegg.com is having a 24-hr sale on the 512GB for $130! It is a good price!

I haven't noticed any coil whine even if if the fans are not running.
Georgel likes this. -
I mean, it's not when fans are staying in place, but it's there when the fans are at 50% for certain applications.
This is what made me curious, the same software performing two different algorithms, one algorithjm creates whine coil and one doesnt... I wonder why... Also, is using something that creates whine coil going to shorten the life of the electronic ?hmscott likes this. -

I don't know if this is the right place to ask. I have a p650RS-G with i7-6820HK CPU. I'd like to see if I can hit 4.0GHz (or more) with the CPU which is currently running at 3.2-3.6GHz. I have throttle stop open but I'm not sure what to try.
The turbo multiplier doesn't go over 36T which I guess can lead to 3.6GHz. How do I go over that? -

Did madshi fix the coil whine?
There was coil whine without 100% CPU core load and at 25fps (movie). I can understand if it happened in very high fps but at 25fps, it is a bit strange..Spartan@HIDevolution likes this.
