Happens to me in 3DM11 all the time. I did the centered to full screen like you and haven't seen it happen lately.
-
Weirdly enough since i toggled that both centred and stretched are fullscreen now without nay fps issues :SMr. Fox likes this.

Yeah this happened after i tried the new version.
Im going to do a Windows reinstall and just avoid all the hassle. -
Trying to get a clean run without a crash in 3DMark 11 and seeing 820W there in test #1.
This with crappy drivers on Fire Strike. Going to drop back to older drivers and see if the score improves (as expected).
@Khenglish - I'll post that for you since you wanted to see it.Last edited: Jun 10, 2017Johnksss, Prema, Scerate and 1 other person like this. -
Here's an 801W example in 3DMark 11 test #1. @Johnksss@iBUYPOWER @Khenglish @Prema
Going to have to play with the TDP slider to see if I can get it fully stable, but this is bad-ass.

Why would you be sad? Because the 780W AC adapter might not be enough when all is said and done?
Off-topic: Found this nasty critter crawling up my left arm last night while watching a movie. I don't think I have ever gotten out of my recliner as fast as I did then, LOL. Thankfully, I did not get zapped by him. Thank you, Jesus!

haha moar powaaah!!
On air, just to test how much the mods help -

Damn!! I haven't seen one of those since i was a tiny toddler. Glad you are safe!! -
The adapter is fine as long as the parts are good. It's good to at least 900W+

While you guys are having fun, I tried to contact Nvidia because reasons...and this happened:

Well...jeez....I can't get any good luck can I ? -
Maybe time for checking several places home. Not nice with those inside home. I showed this to my wife

Yeah, that's the worst kind, too. Arizona Bark Scorpion. Still gives me the creeps that it was crawling up my arm. Match my photo to this: http://bransonswildworld.com/arizona-bark-scorpion-2/

Actually John might be able to get the HULK file if he agrees to let go of his warranty, and proves that hes a pro overclocker. (easy part
)
-
It sucks that anyone has to jump through hoops. They should just shut up and give us whatever we want no matter what if they have it available. It's none of their business what "status" anyone has. Giving to some and not to anyone that asks for it is pretty shady. But, not any more underhanded and despicable than having flash protection in the first place. That sinful act alone warrants a devastating blow with ball peen hammer to the face right there.Ashtrix, Papusan and Falkentyne like this.

You know me. All that stuff is considered paper facts until proven in the wilds. I'm only giving it the "benefit of the doubt" that it will run 900W+. They said the 330W was max 330W at best 370W and that was found to not be quite true either.Papusan likes this.
-
haha if only it was that simple.
-
I wish!! But the versions they get are considered trackable. (Speculations of course)
-
Yeah they will instantly know its yours the moment it goes public.
-
Yeah, see their versions can be nv flashed while we need a programmer.
-
It should be, and it's totally wrong that it's not. NVIDIA is a shifty shady outfit and always has been. Voiding warranty is fine, but what we do with our stuff is none of their business and making it difficult to make changes to firmware proves what a sorry outfit they are.Ashtrix, leftsenseless, Papusan and 1 other person like this.

Wait who is John? Prema? do i have to attach my Bios file?
*oops, THAT'S John.....oh man im embarassed

Having a public vBIOS editor for Maxwell was the reason they locked down flashing by introducing phase two of the Falcon security in the first place. Too much RMA from people that didn't know what they where doing...
Since unaware user again decided it was a great idea to make power and temp profiles of pascal, which btw where nothing new as they where never changed since GTX7-series, available to every fool out there, we can soon say vBIOS modding goodbye...
In Falcon phase three the firmware will be checked for integrity on every boot aka the end of modding.

That was the lazy programmer, who instead of adjusting the entire FAN curve, when EC asked him to lower the FAN noise of the beta firmware, simply lowered the temp reading offset.
So when they later-on requested to add temp readings to the display he didn't go back to correct his 'short-cut' and simply displayed the data fed to the controller, which is too low due to the offset.

So around roughly where I was, will need to see about clocking the CPU further

Man, reading the last few pages, I feel really sorry for the way things are ending up. I mean, yes, Nvidi has a point with their RMAs because of people doing more than they should, but that shouldn't be a reason to fully lock their GPUs, there is a good high-end and overclockers segment who really wants to have access to do whatever they want.
It is bad business to tell the ones who pay the most what to do, since the most expensive cards were probably the ones they wanted to lock the most... At least they should leave the highest end cards alone, let overclockers have their fun. -

If you are the only game in town...

Not the first time Nvidia try hindering OC. Most of us remember the Clock Blocking ****y from Ngreedia. Only short time as @Prema say, before laptops ain't fun anymore. Crippled firmware + 99,9% of all laptops are pure TRASH. The main reason we now see the end!! Finito!! And I haven't mentioned Max-Q.Last edited: Jun 10, 2017Ashtrix, dzpliu, Scerate and 1 other person like this.

Well...
But what will happen to desktop cards? are they locked right now? Will they be? should desktop users fear them? -
And that is the card I should get when I will be going to desktop then!
Thank you for letting us know...
I really hope that Clevo can do something to keep the laptop love burning strong! -
Not much Clevo can do when hardware manufacturers like Ngreedia screw up everything they touch!! You are doomed. And more and more will be secured fully locked down. I don't see a bright future for high end laptops and proper overclocking.
-
Sad reacts only... I mean, I really wish people would be able to OC if they want to, it is a hobby!
-
This run pulled 765W. http://www.3dmark.com/spy/1894856
Now it's time to test a new mod. -
Your physics score seems really low, what happened there?
And here we see the effect 3000MHz RAM has, because even though your physics score was a lot lower, your combined obliterated the one I did xD
